So this v app program is really causing a lot of anger from armys and others watching because of mainly how stupidly the program was planned out, and the two cast mates 조세호 (Cho SaeHo) and 서장훈 (Seojang Hoon) making rude comments and speaking inappropriately throughout the whole broadcast. 

As much as the minority are making it out to seem like this is army’s fault for excessively voting on Jungkook, It definitely is not, because the voting system itself has been set up invalidly, and I thought for international fans I’d explain the situation so far in attempt to clear up some confusion .. 

So the first big problem is the planning of the show, and the people that have been casted into it. 

The plan of this show is that viewers on v app will vote on the v app broadcasts by selecting the camera (eg. Cam 2 was jungkook) and giving hearts to vote for who they want to be the leader of the “flower path” or the “dirt path”.  The leader of the flower path (who was inevitably voted as jungkook) is to select 2 more people for their team and the leader of the dirt path (least votes counted) is meant to chose who they want to go with. The flower path would mean going to some vacation spot, having good food etc whilst dirt path would get “a fish” for dinner and stay in a shabby house.  First problem here is that the planning of this show was SHIT because obviously jungkook would be getting the most votes (if they bothered to take into consideration how many hearts on average bts get for their live broadcasts, and the fact that OBVIOUSLY fans of bts that watch v app would be the ones even WATCHING the damn show). So here they failed to consider how the whole thing would work out. This is what starts off Cho Saeho and Seo Janghoon’s similar-to-ranting talk for the whole broadcast. 

Secondly, Korean Armys are infuriated at how Cho Sae Ho and Seo Janghoon treated Jungkook throughout the broadcast (not forgetting to mention Kim minseok/Yoo Byungjae etc who they compared to with jungkook and made remarks such as “do you even have fans”).  

At the beginning Jungkook brings food (hamburgers etc) for those that were waiting because it’s his first variety program that he’s starring in, and obviously it can be seen as an attempt to start off the show with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.  Then comes in Cho Saeho, who decides to make some sort of “joke” where he says “They look like leftovers” and he outwardly (and rudely) rejects the offer.  유병재 (YooByungJae) and 김민석 (Kim Minseok) have the courtesy to say thanks and accept it and later on when the two of them are eating, Chosaeho (who earlier rejected the offer) starts to comment at them saying “Are you guys stuffing your faces only?” With rude language. (like tf is his problem?) 

Next, (Im not sure what exactly happens at this part) but they make jungkook, A Variety show newcomer (also important contributor to the show), sit on the floor holding the food he brought as gifts. The image of this is floating around a lot buying lots of anger from armys. 

Secondly, Seo janghoon makes rude remarks by pressuring Jungkook and continuously commenting on how popular he is during the broadcast and going to unnecessary lengths to bring him down and ask him “How old are you?” and when jungkook says 20 (in korean age) he proceeds to tell him to sit straight as a form of “discipline” which to korean fans, obviously comes through as a form of “showing him who’s boss”. At the same time he keeps raving on about how he met jungkook through a show in the past and tries to keep up some act of friendship with jungkook, making a heart with him infront of screen.  He also continues to talk loudly and over the top of all the others leading to silence from everyone else except him and Chosaeho.  He also talks about how before they arrived they had eaten everything Jungkook wanted and going on to say how much he’s been trying to match his preferences, and this has Jungkook looking really guilty.  Once Yoo Byungjae/Kim Minseok points out the comments on v app chat where army’s are saying “Stop burdening jungkook” “Seojanghoon stop talking” He then goes on to downplay his actions and say his comments are “for fun” which nobody seems to agree with.. 

Most importantly, Jungkook is clearly uncomfortable throughout the whole thing with his name repeatedly being spoken and the show not making progress as the two talkative people are only making comments about him (when the show should be focused on everyone appearing) and to not buy bad impressions from the older cast on the show he makes gestures telling armys to not vote for him/ partly because he doesnt want the burden of choosing who he’ll team up with as well.  During the broadcast jimin also tweets “Looks like you’re always going to be the flower path leader because of armys” but he uses the word “때문에" which gives off the vibe that it’s army’s ‘fault’, making armys feel a negative nuance in his words / feel guilty. 

So I havent stated every little detail with complete accuracy and I think some twitter translations have more specificity on who said what, but basically armys are asking for the show to be cancelled completely and are not looking forward to how the 9pm(Korean Time) broadcast happening soon will turn out… :/ 

The boy probably woke up at odd hours to take these. The passion is real!
