i saw the tv glow isn't just a queer movie it's a movie about the suffocating experiences of queerness and the horrors of it, the fact there will always be time and the unique experience with indentities only able to be described by metaphors and not labels; especially neurodivergence and using special interests to orchestrate and explain your identity. the horror uses sound design to it's greatest and leaves you feeling isolated like Owen was since the beginning as a kid underneath that parachute while the colours tell their own story, muting out all pinks and purples of comfort and discovery until even Owen's memories are muted by mr melancholy. There is so much I could say about this movie

having to force yourself to stop liking spinterests because they trigger you and remind you of that one person is the worst feeling ever
