Is it just me because I think it's a shame that we didn't see ruyi wear the (one ear three qian=piercing) custom other than her promotions which it would have looked so good and goes well with her personality specially that she was a Manchu by blood unlike hui who always wore them (I guess it have to do with her insecurity about being han it always trigger her when someone mention it) maybe the drama making team didn't think it goes well with her clothing or didn't suit zhou xun or zhou xun herself didn't want to or maybe she didn't wear it in the novel I don't know I just feel it's wasted

You know I find very funny that one of the reasons the nobles consider ruby unworthy of izek is because she's so evil and dangerous
