it's october 1st so halloween head canons 👍

(ik i should've probably made this on the 31st but i'm impatient hehehehehe)

ashlyn actually likes dressing up in different costumes, but really dislikes going door-to-door and asking "trick or treat"

taylor always goes all out with her costumes. she'd thrift, go to twenty billion different stores, make her own diy jewelry, etc. in elementary school, she'd always win those costume competition things

^ part of her thrifting/make-your-own-costume thing comes from her parents. they'd make diy costumes with her since they believed anything handmade is better than store bought. aiden would usually order costumes/props/etc for her even if she didn't want him to (she always ends up super grateful)

tyler and aiden would bicker over candy, but most of them would be aiden's fault. he'd start by saying something about how tyler's favorite candy sucks (but he actually really likes it), and tyler would say something about how aiden can't even dress up good (but in reality they're just having fun)

logan would surprise everyone with the bloodiest, most horrific, gory, terrifying costumesbto exist. they're also combos of homemade + store-bought costumes, but he'd add blood/gore/etc himself

ben's parents are the super sweet/super nice kind, so they'd always hand out extra candy to the six

^ in the end they'd always turn up with mountains of candy

aiden always makes the best jack-o-lanterns/pumpkin carvings that actually look like works of art (he would even carve distorted/grotesque versions of their faces)

in the years tay and ty would match (halloween was a time they wouldn't do it) they would always do character references, like mabel and dipper, katara and sokka, nezuko and tanjiro, etc

even though aiden usually seems unafraid most times, he gets super jumpy inside of haunted houses/mazes, to tyler's amusement

^ tyler would chase after aiden, trying to scare him, but tay and ash would team up against them

ben and logan is the best jumpscare duo tho. logan would climb on ben's shoulders while they hid in the shadows, and they'd jump out whenever someone walks past
