Missing summer rn

Late fall 2023

I’m going away to college in nine days. I have trouble believing that my life is going to change so much- denial seems so be a useful tool LOL. As I wait, I spend my time drinking coffee and watching tv in my room. I am not sure why I am treating college like going to Mars, but I know that next time I am in my home town, in my childhood bedroom, everything will be different. The only way I can think to fully appreciate my time left is to spend it exactly was I would if I had all the time in the world.
