So the reason why Xehanort dreamt the Player's old memories is because he had the ability to sense others' hearts.

4. Xehanort's destiny??? I'm not sure if Player mistook Xehanort for Sora as the child of destiny, but I can't rule out the possibility that maybe Xehanort was SUPPOSED(???) to be the child of destiny but MoM stirred his path to the darkness and that role was given to Sora like how Riku was supposed to have the keyblade but when he turned to the darkness, the keyblade was given to Sora.

But, it's KINDA messed up if Player just happned to take Xehanort and raised him in Destiny Islands to make him fit into the role of the child of destiny... I still have issues regarding that like... Player, what are you doing?

6. Possibility that Player will be in Missing Link. The player lived two lives, the second being in Scala Ad Caelum when they learned the destiny of the child of destiny. Imagine if we met Brain... like "Hey Brain, it's me Player." Hopefully, we also get to know who Demyx and Luxord are as somebodies. And I swear, if Luxu body hops into someone we are well-acquainted with again, I will throw something..!

Hi! (Not sure if my first ask got through) I've seen that you wrote headcannons for both Genshin Impact and Fire Emblem and I took this as an opportunity to ask for a crossover. I'd like to ask some headcannons for Zhongli and a Nabatean/Child of Sothis! s/o who somehow found themselves in Teyvat.

Zhongli x Nabatean!Reader (gender neutral) sfw, fluff

Zhongli begins as amicably with this new visitor to Teyvat as with anyone else- but the more time goes on, the more you two learn about each other’s worlds, and as it slowly dawns on him that a ‘Nabatean’ may very well rival his own lifespan, well… having someone by his side that long might be… nice, to say the least.

But oof, my friend, he is going to take his damn sweet time considering every possible angle before initiating a romance. He’s a careful, thoughtful man by nature, and he can’t risk falling into these new, warm feelings until he’s ruled out the possibility that his own loneliness has led him into the arms of the first person who may be able to sooth him throughout his [potentially] eternal existence.

On the plus side, we get to see some sweet, sweet pining while he figures that out- and when Zhongli pines, he pines hard. Consider how much thought he puts into matters of governance, culture, etc. and apply that to the arduous task of sorting out his feelings when this new presence in his life is someone so well matched to him in lifestyle and philosophy. He finds himself constantly at odds with his urge to lace his fingers with yours while you walk the docks of Liyue- even worse is the spontaneous but immense desire to brush stray green-toned hair behind adorably pointed ears- or, heavens forbid it- lightly kiss or nip at their unique contour.

Thank goodness you both live so long, since by the time he finally realizes that his feelings for you aren’t going anywhere, you’ve become truly irreplaceable to one another as companions.

Given the difficult and downright traumatizing past of the Nabatean people, it’s understandable that sometimes you wish you could put your time in Fodlan entirely behind you and focus only on the future. Zhongli is uniquely empathetic towards this impulse, but he’s always one to remind you of the importance of the past in shaping the future. He’s incredibly comforting to vent and open up to, and it’s likely during one of these earnest conversations that it dawns on you that being with him isn’t just about not being lonely anymore- it’s about what he adds to your sprawling lifespan.

On the day he finally, finally confesses to you, he’s used Geo to carve a small dragon pendant for you out of Cor Lapis- even incorporating several details of your own transformed body as you’ve described them to him in the past. The man is incredibly conscientious and detail-oriented, and it shows in his handiwork, and in how attentive he’s always been with you.

As the years and generations pass, you two will be known as a power couple anywhere you go, and kindred spirits beyond a doubt. Mealtimes together are full of lively conversations on poetry, philosophy, trade, and everything in between- you constantly engage each other intellectually and fill your years by always learning more about each other and Teyvat as a whole.

Zhongli can be a touch over-protective, however. It’s hard not to be sympathetic, given how many he’s seen come and go from his life, and how many of those closest to him have met tragic ends. Now that he has, at long, long last, managed to open his heart to a life with a companion, the thought of losing you is nearly too much to bear. He’d thought that he had largely made peace with loss, and death as a whole, but the prospect of a life with you has deeply shaken that part of him (basically what I’m saying is, my guy has some Seteth energy woop)

You may not realize until one of the Adepti or even another Archon points it out to you, but having you in his life does very gradually soften Zhongli’s overall demeanor a bit. He’s always been as immovable and eternal as the stone he represents, but with the new light and life you bring to his day-to-day, those who have known him the longest will be sure to notice a shift.

A Demon Slayer in NRC! II (Various, HCs)

You guys really liked the first one, so I’ve come to bring you the second one, as many of you requested 💕 Quoting myself, each dorm will have different kinds of demon slayer readers based on the series so it doesn’t feel too repeated.

Part 1 (🌹🌞🍎🐉)

🦁Savanaclaw🦁

You were like the blazing sun–leaving bright red embers in your wake. The ferocious dorm of Savanaclaw proved to be of no harm or hindrance to you, as its residents quickly learnt that playing with fire would prove no fortune to them.

From the start, they could see just how radiant you could be, your personality resembling the sun that blesses the Savannah. However, you had quite the intellect as well, picking your battles carefully and becoming a wise figure that the first years looked up to.

Prior to discovering your abilities as a flame breath user, Leona sees you as a happy go lucky, harmless herbivore. He’ll let you have your fun, but only see you as a meek little deer, an easy obstacle to overcome. This all changed when you defeated some rowdy Savanaclaw students in one go however, quite literally slamming their bodies onto the ground right in front of his eyes. And you didn’t even need to unsheathe your sword!

“Herbivore–” he kept his mouth shut. Should he really be calling you herbivore when it was obvious that you were like the flames of hell itself? He quickly wipes away his previous image of you in place of a strong, not to be trifled with leader. 

In a way, he envies your strength. Despite not having any magic, you quickly proved your worth and the respect of his pride, earning your spot in the harsh scorching sun. Someone like you could be troublesome to him, especially with the fact that you were not a hot headed numbskull, but an experienced fighter full of wisdom. You were no easy prey, that’s for sure (but he’s at least glad that you were still on good terms with each other).

Ruggie knows better not to mess with you. The women of Afterglow Savannah are already scary, but they couldn’t even hold a candle to you! As he watches you perform the breath of flames and unleash your sword on some unfortunate tree stumps, he can’t help but be awestruck. What did you endure to be able to be this powerful?

He quickly learns about your appetite and tendency of yelling “UMAI!” (courtesy of your trainer/master) whenever the two of you eat together and honestly, he doesn’t mind. Your happy face as you wholeheartedly enjoy his cooking was a sight to behold, and your vibes were contagious. 

He loves how you have a big heart, caring for children–especially orphans. Though, when he learns why, his heart drops. He didn’t know how the world could be so cruel to you and countless others.

Jack and you get along well! #training buddies! He disregards the fact that you can’t use magic, since he cares more about, well–you. 

He and you often train together, sometimes inviting Silver and Sebek to join. Meanwhile, the Savanaclaw dorm wonders how you can keep up with him…were you really human?

He often asks about your breathing styles, and would be very delighted if you gave him some pointers on moving his muscles.  He’s also a very curious wolf, dropping a question about your previous life here and there. He won’t pry if you feel uncomfortable though. 

“I’ve fought much stronger demons, and I’ve lost much more than I can think of…” You state, right after you explain about the dangers of your world and how you eventually rose as a hashira, in the wake of someone very dear to you. “But I’m glad I have you all now.” Leona, Ruggie and Jack’s hearts tighten a bit as you quickly smile it off, wondering how you could still be so kind and cheerful, even after what you’ve endured. You were really something else, in a good way.

The dorm eventually winds up with a new honorary member of their pride, and they treat you as one of their own. With someone as thick skinned as you, surviving their way of life wasn’t that hard, and you aren’t scared to be invited to an arm wrestling match or a fight or two if necessary (though, no one would think of getting in your way once you unsheathed your sword–no thank you, they’d love to stay in one piece and never wake your anger, EVER). Leona would still keep an eye you, but he knows you can hold your own. Both against terrifying demons and against stronger beastmen, all without any magic.

🐙Octavinelle🐙

The octatrio are delighted to have you as a comrade. You’re calm, collected, and you plan your moves perfectly. My, you’d make such a nice addition to the dorm…

They underestimated your dead calm personality as timidness and meekness however. Thought you were shy and weak? Yeah, all the lower and upper moons you’ve managed to take down would beg to differ. Floyd was soon added to that list, as his offer to squeeze you was backfired.

Azul and Jade watched, baffled at how you took down their tank so easily, and in the blink of an eye too. You didn’t even look like you were paying attention, your stare blank and limbs unmoving. How in the world..? Was this magic? And could Azul use this for a contract?!

It wasn’t, you confirmed this with them as you let Floyd go. They soon took you in for questioning, their suspicions being true. So you weren’t a little shrimp after all. Well, Azul is certainly having second thoughts of coercing you into a contract.

Floyd is delighted that he can play a bit rougher with you at the very least. My, with fast reflexes and a body that could contort and twist like a whirlpool, he never gets bored of chasing you around (even if he never actually catches you, since you’d get bored and give in to his touch).

They are completely enamoured by your movements. Such beautiful, precise momentum that must have only been achieved through intense training and hard work! You mimicked the waves themselves, flowing similar to a harsh tide–as if you were moving graciously underwater. They remark that you’ve achieved the impossible: swimming with a merfolk’s stride on land.

Everyone knows not to mess with you now that you’ve proven your ground. It would be foolish to mess with anyone who wielded a sword like it was a pen, especially if that person was revered by merfolk for “otherwordly water breath techniques” (Floyd said it was a mouthful). 

Anyone thinking of harming you for any contract related business quickly fled without a trace, especially when they saw the 11th form in action. I would too lol do not mess with water breath users

Azul is very interested in your breath of water! He frequently asks detailed questions, much like Riddle. Although you sometimes give him lacklustre answers, he’ll work his way around. 

If you get close enough, he’ll sheepishly ask if you could work out with him and give out tips on maintaining your body shape. Don’t take things too fast and teach him as if you were Urokodaki though–the poor man’s only been on land for so long, and he’ll pass up the death defying stunts of water breathing for now. He much prefers just watching you do it.

Jade also holds some form of attraction/interest to you. Don’t be too shocked if he asks to inspect you or watch you unleash several forms. In return, he’ll listen to your stories about the formidable demons you faced. 

He almost can’t fathom how a magicless human like you is fully capable of slaying hoards of powerful demons, in which the people he and Floyd taught a lesson to merely pale in comparison. 

In the end, the Octatrio would still treat you kindly, but with a newfound appreciation and sense of adoration. A magicless human with only a blade and water breathing skills as a weapon for fighting demons, and you did this is all for the greater good. You were very noble, that’s for sure.

🤖Ignihyde🤖

“OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDD” Is all that goes through Idia’s mind as he sees you for the first time. The intricately patterned haori that complimented your uniform, the sworn that rested on your side, and your toned body are enough to give him a field day. Did you jump straight out of an anime or mobage?!

He sets his fanboy self aside for now, especially since you look so overwhelmed (and quite scared) at all the technology surrounding you. “Right, swordsmen of your sort are usually from more historical anime.” 

Luckily he’s seen his fair share of the “introducing person A to technology” trope, so he’s hoping he can help you settle a bit.

When he sees you jolt as Ortho greets you, he briefly tells his brother 

about your circumstances before setting you down, immediately getting you updated on the world. He’s even got a powerpoint ready!

Once you finally get accustomed to technology, he’ll let Ortho formally introduce himself to you. Fortunately for everyone, you got along well, and Ortho loves hearing about you tell him all about the whimsical tales you experienced with your comrades.

Idia is at peak fanboy hours™️ when he sees you perform the breath of lightning. You attack the training dummies with blinding speed, quite literally blowing his breath away…and the electronics too. Your incredible speed and lightning made the camera footage quite shaky and blurry, but Idia says it’s alright–he’ll make an advanced build that’ll allow it to catch your movements better! for research purposes

Ortho tags along with you in training sessions, and he even scans your body and gives input on how you can improve. He’ll mention various things, like the strength and pressure put into your legs, the intensity of the breaths you were performing, and how tightly you gripped your sword’s handle. You appreciate him a lot. 

Idia marvels at your sword, the real deal was on his hands! He can never go back to collector’s edition blades from hit shounen anime now. Expect him to nervously ask if he could hold it from time to time.

He also inspects the metal, making immense research and notes from the nichirin used to forge the blade. With how the blade changes color despite no magic being involved, he’ll definitely spend countless hours just studying its chemical compound!

The boys somehow become like family to you. As you tell them your upbringing–about how you’ve lost your family and so many comrades to the clutches of death and dreaded demons, Ortho pulls you into a hug. 

Things like this hit too close to home for Idia, but being friends with someone who understands how you feel was comforting. He’ll listen to every word from your mouth with no hesitation, letting you vent out your grief with Ortho hugging your side. He knows life can be harsh, but with you somehow still alive and fighting, despite all the hardships you went through was something he deeply admires, and he holds you up onto a pedestal for being so fearless.
