So this time last year, a contest opened on Tapas for romance novels. I entered mine on Oct 17th.

I wanted a story that wasn't about divorce and cheating. That wasn't will they won't they. Something that was romance, cozy, and a married couple that just needed to get their act together. I didn't think I'd win honestly.

I got runner up but still was awarded a honest to god non exclusive contract. It was crazy!

We had to go through cover changes (bye bye cute ice cream) and some editing (hello anxiety LOL). But now it's almost here!

this is ENTIRELY too many times for it to be a coincidence. Cats are psychic.

saddest thing that can happen is a cat so delicately and cozy putting their small apple head on your leg like a pillow to sleep while fully unaware that in like five minutes you're going to get up to go eat because they don't know human language or how time works
