Fondly remembering the time that a cat owner casually entered their calico Maine Coon in a cat fancier’s competition and the judges lost their minds because the cat was 1) male and 2) able to bear children

And I am starting to think that the idea that rogue secunits are dangerously violent is corporate propaganda to keep people from having compassion or seeing them as people. Zero of the rouge units we've met are random murders.

“[The journalists] haven’t connected the idea of a purchased secunit with what they assumed was the generic augmented human person going into the hotel with Pin-lee and Ratth.” - artificial condition.

I’m doing a repeat of the series and this passage really made me think about just how little most people know about what sec units look like. And it makes me wonder how many people really understand that a construct looks human and isn’t just a robot with a couple squishy parts inside. Would there be more of an uproar against constructs if they did know?

Bucky: around 8, I’m still not sure about the one.
