She/her I post whatever I'm interested in at the time, mainly wings of fire, gregregor the overlander, good omens, Musical theater, and books I like. Also Venom now apparently? Don’t know where that came from but I have a sneaking suspicion this interest is going to last.

actively wanting to date is kind of baffling to me

Revisiting an old Oc by the name of FigEater.
He’s an ex-soldier of Queen Burn, and loves to travel. Man’s a tank and finds it hilarious when other dragons are intimidated by him.
Please stop hating on BMC
I will never understand people who hate BMC and subsequently people who enjoy it. You don’t have to like it but people are absolutely horrible when it comes to the musical. Like, newer musicals get enough hate as it is can you please not add on.
BMC was a show that covered mental illness, neurodivergency, and LGBTQIA+ themes in a really interesting way. It also did so in a non problematic way. Giving a lot of empathy to the characters and fleshing them out a lot more than you see in other shows. (We’re ignoring the book here, that’s a different post)
The music was also genuinely good, and I like how it takes a more electronic style to fit the theme. It’s not perfect, I’m not saying it is, but it’s not bad.
Many people hold this show so close in there heart because they finally found characters that they found relatable. This show is a comfort space for many. A place to feel safe and understood, due to the inclusiveness of the community that the shows LGBTQIA+ and mental health themes/undertones set up.
I understand the show might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But please for the love of musical theater be respectful.
