art tip: if you are struggling to figure out orientation of an illustration, make a bunch of simple scribbles representing the piece!
NO DETAILS. just draw the very basic shapes and spend NO time working on it. just make several simple little scribbles of the basic idea of the drawing and pick the one you like! I like to use a square to vaugely indicate orientation.
