I’m sorry I felt emo today so I wrote this long ass imagine, but Hobi deserves it since I always can’t find enough imagines with him, hope you still liked it!

The headlights shone bravely out into the night only to be swallowed by the pressing darkness as you drove through the empty roads trying to contain your laughter. The air was filled with cigarettes and your friend’s cheap perfume.

This company wasn’t the type you read about in books or see in movies, no, these people were toxic, just like Hobi had said before, but you still considered them somehow as friends, you knew them for quite some time now, had one or two deep conversations, they were your getaway from the real world, since they never escaped their teenage years. You glanced at Hobi sitting next to you, who looked as if he had been put in a small box filled with worms, scared to touch anything, you could see the disgust in his eyes. You knew it was a big step for him to tag along with this company and you were thankful, really, because even if you didn’t consider them as your best friends, they were someone you needed.

Hoseok sighted as he saw you walk away with one of the females, not once did he turn away from you. He didn’t even try to mask his annoyed tone while talking to few of your male guys. In his eyes, they were his competition. And boy was he mad when he saw you gulp half of the bottle filled with alcohol, he was about to walk towards you when one of the guys grabbed him “Just let her relax, she needs it”. Thoughts ran through his mind, why would you need it? Was being with him made you sad? Was he not enough? He chuckled at the last thought. Of course I am enough. He thought before letting you be.

“I have never seen someone so in love as your lover boy” your friend chuckled as she looked at the stars. You turned your head towards Hobi smiling as you saw him looking. “I know, but it makes it hard. I usually keep my mouth shut to the point where it suffocates me because I don’t want to hurt him” she looked at you with the biggest smirk playing on your mind knowing exactly what you needed. “Scream, just like the old times when we would come here”

That’s exactly what you did, you threw your hands in the air before letting out a long scream.

Hoseok jumped when he heard you scream, were you hurt? Were you mad at your friend? He felt confused.

“That’s our girl!” one of the guys shouted from behind making you turn around and rush towards Hobi, knowing that it will make him throw fists. “What the fuck did he just say?” his body was trembling, making you hug him even tighter. You motioned for your friend to go somewhere else before you pecked Hoseok’s jawline sending him back into his loving-self. “You’re mine” he whispered wrapping his arms around you securely.

Hand in hand you walked to the hill where a bonfire was set up. The sparks flying well above the treetops. Everyone suddenly went silent, appreciating the warmness. Even Hoseok, who was still annoyed feeling as if your friends knew you better than he did. They understood your this side that he had never seen before. He felt as if you loved your friends more than you did him. His heart filled with another type of warmness as you put your head on his shoulder. “Hobi, you know that I love you, right?” you asked looking at the fire glistening in front of your eyes, the only sound of flames echoing through the trees. He sighted trying to convince himself that you were telling the truth. “I know there are so many thoughts in the pretty mind of yours, but not all of them are true, baby. No one will take me away, I will stay with for as long as you want me to until you get tired of me” you said with a hint of playfulness. Hobi looked at you with a horrified expression “I will never get tired of you, you will always be by my side, I won’t ever let you leave even if you’ll want that” you chuckled not even surprised by his possessing words. “I know”
