Okay, so this is an extremely stupid thought, is in no way plausible, is totally a crack theory/headcanon, and I’m not gonna do anything with it. But it was 3:30 AM when my brain came up with it, so just take a moment, don’t think, and just imagine this concept with me:

Essek is the physical embodiment of the beacons that have already been found.

critical role spoilers critical role essek thelyss cr spoilers CR2 This is Wild and I Love it I've been grinning like a fool since Matt shared the 'creation story' of/for the Luxon And I've seen the posts about how Essek is the closest to a true 'Champion' of the Luxon And then I see this one I Absolutely Love it XD Also also the concept that Essek is like 'Screw this religion/this 'Big Question' Imma do my absolute darndest to study this shXt and find out what it ACTUALLY is' But in doing so it following the 'religion' more closely/better than anyone else And the idea?? That he IS (at least part of) The Luxon added to that??? Or perhaps a being/something similar/of the same breed or somethin'?? (And maybe that in befriending/being befriended by the Mighty Nein Actually gets EVEN CLOSER To what the Luxon wants Finding out what It Is - Essek finding out who He Is Through the Love Of and From the Mighty Nein) Our HotBoi would probably blow a flippin' gasket Or Several And then at that the idea of the luxon/part of the luxon Blowing a gasket over being itself Is so hilarious to me And rather on par for Essek XD The boi really do be thinkin' himself into a loop RIP Essek/the luxon I guess XD
