This isn’t just about getting a season 2: we’re trying to get justice for the cast, crew, and writers behind this unapologetically queer show. Netflix has gotten far too comfortable canceling fantasy shows, especially ones that are diverse or LGBTQ+ (like Dead Boy Detectives), and we want to send a message that our stories are worth telling.

Dead Boy Detectives is campy and supernatural, but it’s also full of drama, magic, romance, action, found family, stunning visuals, cunty villains (a slutty man who shapeshifts into a cat, a pipe-smoking witch who feeds little girls to a giant snake, to name a few...), hilarious quips, stories about overcoming trauma, and emotionally provocative character arcs that will touch your heart; I promise you guys will LOVE this show and should check it out! 💜
