While She Was Mostly Fine, The Spell Did Detect Abnormal Rise In Temperature Near Her Ribs And Detected
While she was mostly fine, the spell did detect abnormal rise in temperature near her ribs and detected a slight change in mentality according to the notes and body chart. What the hell? When she touch the area, she didn’t feel anything, just normal skin. “It’s probably just a fever. Or a cold. I don’t know what diseases this world may have.” She stated loudly, more to reassure herself than actually speaking. There’s nothing, everything is perfectly fine. She just has to make sure she takes her vitamins more often. Besides, this place is based off of the medieval times! Who knows what old time sicknesses they have here! Her immune system is probably just trying to keep her from getting sick, that’s all. And the change in thinking, well, that’s an easy explanation. She’s stuck in a different universe! And has no one to help her out! She’s a teenage girl surrounded by men who can kill her in a blink of an eye if they feel like it! Of course her mentality is going to change! “Simple, logical, explanations to this.”

“Ignorance is bliss, Your Highness.” Was all the pyromancer said as she performed the spell on herself, a green mist flowing out of the spell book to cover her body entirely. For a few minutes, All Maria could see was green before the mist flowed back into the book, leaving not a single trace behind. Reading the page, Maria’s brown eyes grew wide with shock. How was that possible?!
The god hovered wordlessly nearby, tendrils writhing around his body. He watched without a word: though his mind had long drifted off somewhere else in the process.
Gotthard… if he didn’t have a human heart, why did his chest suddenly ache so badly at the thought of his son..? At the memory of his bitter, angry expression whenever he looked in his direction..? Even if he was born of their contract, he was still his son.

Understanding the glance, Maria whistled lowly to her wolves and tiptoed out of the dining room. Softly closing the door, she let out a soft breath before continuing on to her room. However, once she entered, she realized that it was littered with books. Not good.
“Whelp. I guess I can just eat a bit while we take these back to the library.” She sighed, taking up as many books as she could before walking back out the door. It was a tiring journey filled with grunts, groans, and minor cursing but she eventually managed to get to the library safe and relatively sound. Amon opened the door, letting her in first before following.
Maria let out a heavy sigh before she stopped. Squinting, she could see a tiny bit of light not too far from her. The barely lit form of an arm was just barely noticeable. Would’ve missed it if she wasn’t paying attention.
“Hello?” She called out, dropping her bag to ignite a fireball in her hand. Both for light and defense.

Arlo watched the two humans curiously, confused by their strange words. He didn’t know who Idalion was nor Gwyn, but he did know that he did not care. He was about to get closer when his mother, Amarata, snapped at him, telling him to get back over to her. Now.
Whimpering, he scurried back to his mother’s side, his tail between his legs. Inside the kitchen, Maria had finally settled with some fruits, cheese and bread. Not quite the meal her mother would’ve made but a meal nonetheless.
“Okay, that should be more than enough. Let’s go, Amon. I still need to practice the magic of this world.” Maria commanded, stepping out of the kitchen, only to stop when she realized that she had stepped into a moment. Frozen, her mind couldn’t decide on what to do. Should she go back into the kitchen and just wait till they leave? Keep walking? Pretend she was blind and walk to her room? Run at top speed?
Fortunately for her, Leeroy only spared a sideways look -
The palace’s library was dead quiet at this time of the night, just perfect for him.
Kasimir unfurled the scroll he had plucked from his belt on the table before him after setting his lantern down. Wrath of the Gods… an ancient, primeval miracle that had only been entrusted to the few that proved their worth to the King of Loyce, his father.
A smirk curled the prince’s lips as he read the tale inscribed in it, the story of Gwyn’s firstborn and the tales of his might in punishing those that had proven themselves as enemies to the god of war. The story of his wrath, the scale of his strength: though while the contents were of awe…
He paused, sighing. Gods, his father trusted him enough to give him this at last?
Rushing into the kitchen, Maria leaned against the door as she panted. That was absolutely mortifying!
“You are absolutely grounded when we get back home.” She growled at Amon. The flaming wolf did not care, too busy looking around for food. Sighing, Maria looked through cabinets, her hunger with every food item that did not suit her appetite.
“Ugh. Come on, there’s gotta be something I like in here.” She grumbled.
Outside the kitchen, Arlo was curious of the new strange smelling human. He sniffed the air around him first then getting closer. Right now, he was smelling the humans’ shoe, intrigued by all the scents on it. The fire of his fur dimmed down a bit, so he didn’t accidentally burn something like last time.

Maria completely froze when she spotted the two kings, her eyes wide with horror before narrowing into a sharp, burning glare at Amon.
“Amon, you didn’t tell me that someone was in here.” She hissed through her teeth lowly at the spirit, embarrassed. Amon only blinked at his stupid mistress. Did he really have to tell her that two beings were in the room? Humans. Seeing the lack of response, Maria groaned, rolling her eyes at the wolf before turning to the kings.
“Don’t mind me. I’m just…passing through. Nothing to see here at all. Just getting something to eat. I’ll be in and out as quickly as possible.” She said quickly, slowly edging her way to the kitchens. This was awkward.
Arcturus’ eyebrow arched even higher: “A peculiar one I see…”
The Sorcerer King paused. There was a hint of amusement, as well as a thread of curiosity. Who was she..? After all, he had never seen her around here.
Repo! The Genetic Opera AU
Time for a Repo! The Genetic Opera AU that no one asked for!
I imagine Lucette being in Shiloh’s place. But Nathan would be replaced with Afolabi, Lucette’s father.
Kane would definitely take Rotti Largo’s place, with the Elites as his children. They would all be human, of course.
Taavi would take the place of Graverobber, duh. I really can’t imagine him as anyone else.
So, backstory time!
Lucette’s father, Afolabi, takes Kane’s sister, Aleta, as his wife. However, Kane thinks Afolabi is below Aleta and commands her to divorce him, only to be shocked when she rebels against his order. When it is found out that he is a pyromancer, a rarity in that world, Kane started plotting.
Afolabi and Aleta then have a baby girl named Lucette, and are living happily. That is, until Aleta mysteriously becomes sick. When Afolabi, knowing that if he went to the hospital, he would be taken to Kane, gave her medicine; she started to bleed from her pores. Unfortunately, he could not find the problem and she died from blood loss. At that moment, Kane and his guards found the secret home and arrested Afolabi. Kane then made a deal with the distraught, mentally vulnerable man. If he were to become a Repo man under Kane, he would not only let him free, but give them a large home on the hill overlooking the island and let him raise Lucette in peace.
Afolabi accepted. Now, He is trying to keep his strong-willed daughter from getting sucked into the surgery loving trend while trying to keep from her that he is one of Kane’s Repo men.
Should I?
Should I add other Lucettes from the other AUs I have to my roleplay list? I don’t want to intimidate anyone but I do want to tell the world about Lucette’s “sisters”. I love them all so much.
She wasn’t expecting a response! She was ready to bolt but since the man, she guesses by the voice, hasn’t done anything hostile to her yet, she will try to be diplomatic. Cassie’s lessons won’t be going to waste after all.
“My name is Maria, Maria Dragoncaster. I didn’t know anyone was here. I won’t hurt you, if you don’t hurt me.” She announced. Throwing the fireball into the air, she summoned over a dozen more, making them float in the air and giving her more light. Wow, this guy was armored to the teeth!
“Who are you exactly?”

The prince looked up. He debated for a second reaching for his spear, though since he was in his father’s palace, was there really anything to worry about?
Kasimir stood, though rolled up the scroll and held it in his hand: “Who’s there?” He squinted through the helmet he wore: arms crossed over his chest as he took a step forward.
