Okay so, listen guys. I found a new song that I liked and couldn’t help but think of how similar it is to two of my characters soooooo, I started writing a oneshot featuring it. Ch14 is on hold for now. Don’t worry, It’s 87% done anyway.

Maria simply ate her food as she read, occasionally reaching over to stroke Amon’s head. She would glance up every now and then to make sure the prince was still keeping his distance, not quite ready to trust him. Well, to be honest, she wasn’t ready to trust anyone here.

She had just finished a pear when Amon’s head rose up, his attention now on the doors. She was about to ask what the matter was when Sir Velstadt entered.

“Oh, that’s what.” She remarked,shrugging her shoulders and going back to the book. This spell looked interesting.

“While I understand that cleaning is their job, I’m not here to give them more work.” She responded coolly. She wasn’t used to people having to clean up after her. At her parents’ home, her ma and dad practically had a fit if she even left her shoes anywhere else but by the door. At school, Ms. Falmea would keep you in if your desk wasn’t the epitome of cleanliness. At her house, she prefers things being clean because she’s scared of one of her pets would eat something and die.

“I guess I’ll just reread this while I eat.” She mumbled, walking back over to her bag, pulling it to a dark corner and sitting on the floor, Amon laying down in front of her, keeping his narrowed gaze on the human.

Digging through her bag, she pulled out a green apple  and bit into it.

Kasimir traced a fingertip down the aged writing on the scroll. Leeroy was meticulous, absolutely meticulous about copying down every detail about the miracle into the scroll: a sigh whistling from the inside of his helmet. Lords, his father was a great man of his own virtue, if only he’d see that himself instead of believing himself incapable of matching up against the Ivory King.

“My prince.”

The knight nearly jumped out of his seat. By his father’s holy name, how the hell did the lumbering giant of a Royal Aegis get in here without him picking it up??

“You startled me, dear Velstadt.”

Hiatus Over!

My Christmas hiatus is officially over! I have started writing chapter 14 of TLoV yesterday and forgot to make an announcement until now. Sorry that it lasted so long, stuff was happening. But TLoV is back on track now so be on the lookout. It definitely won’t be done by next weekend since it’s a big and special chapter. Therefore, it will take a while to write. Halfway done with Ulysses’ POV but got like five more people’s POVs to write. Good luck to me.
