A funny head canon I have is that Lucette’s kids aren’t afraid of Ornstein like other kids. And she has no idea why.
Somehow, the kids just see Ornstein as a super strict uncle and keep it moving.
Anytime they see Ornstein: “Hi Uncle Ornstein!”
Literally everyone else:???????????????
Lucette: Why do you all call Captain Ornstein, Uncle Ornstein? Kids: Because he is Uncle Ornstein
Lucette: Okay…but why?
Kids: Because he is!

I’m not 100% satisfied with the face. Specifically the nose. Everything else is great. The nose I have in mind for Ornstein is so hard to draw. The hair strand is covering his cheekbone but the overall look is too good for me to care to much.
