the way otto is looking forward unable to look at his daughter or grandson constantly scheming his inability to look at either of them... possible guilt but not enough to stop because he sees that it's too late he cannot save them from the Game and they wouldn't have been playing/played without him alicent looks back at her son sadly tired helpless a queen in chains indeed she looks back while otto can't resigned to her fate and aegon's fate as well alicent who longs for a past a time when she was *happier* a time when viserys was only her best friend's father and king she is motivated by the need to protect her kids in a world where no one protected her aegon looks at the viewer eyes wide with fear and possibly anger and panic he does not look at his mother or grandsire *cannot look at them so he wouldn't be able to see that his mother is looking at him/looking out for him he looks defiant as well like he wants to run from the duty and the sacrifice but it will always catch him by the time the apple reaches aegon there is nothing left but the core. so of course he is starving. of course he indulges to fill the holes left behind by those who came before him. people take too much from alicent. so she might feel as though she has little but the core to give targ talk i feel ILL this is absolutely haunting/beautiful

something about them having a minuscule amount of screen time so it appears that they resemble parallel lines but they are destined/doomed to cross paths connected by a story/a surname/a father/a throne yet separated by all of the above at the same time there is a great distance between them literally cinematically figuratively AND YET!!!!
