One of the things abt the whole "Daniel gla/zing Miyagi he's soooooo annoying" is that. People saying this happen to be Chozen's fans.
You hate the guy for bringing up his father figure who literally saved him, okay. You also adore the guy who. Canonically would die for this guy. And he also adores his father figure. And would die for his legacy. And he also had a father figure who saved him.
You laugh at Daniel for spontaneously flying with Mr. Miyagi to Japan to be there with him and comfort him. When Chozen spontaneously came to Daniel to be there with him and comfort him.
Chozen is ready to beat the hell out of Silver when he just looks in Daniel's direction, what do you think your favourite character would do if he heard all the garbage you were talking about Daniel and Mr. Miyagi?

The funniest shit about sskk, in my humble opinion, is how different they are from zskk or skk.
Like, both the older generations had a member who acted with their heart – Fukuzawa and Chuuya - who were the "yang" part of the deal. The brighter, the stronger part, the offensive, the light.
Then, you had the one that acted with their head - Mori and Dazai - who were the "yin" part, the smarter and quieter and more subtle side. The one who plotted and steered and pulled them through.
Now. I love Akutagawa. I do. So much. Dearly. My son. My moon. My ever-loving little bundle of gothic happiness.
While he certainly is a formidable fighter and a fearsome opponent, he is far from being a tactical genius. He is also impulsive and irritable at times regardless of danger and circumstances.

Maybe this is a stretch, but I think Edward Hyde is more tragic than Jekyll. Partly because anyone who read the novella will know Jekyll's a hypocritical bitch, but Hyde was created solely for the purpose of evil. He was never even given a chance to try and be a good person. And if he had, if he had tried he would be destined to fail anyway, because that's what Jekyll made him for. And because this is the purpose he was created for, no one around him gives him a chance either. Everyone who meets Hyde assumes he's a terrible person, without knowing him. And I know that's one of the Victorian beliefs; your outward appearance is affected by your sins, but given that one of Stevenson's messages is that appearances are deceiving... I do wonder how Hyde could be if he hadn't been designed for the very purpose of evil. And I know, that he is still Jekyll, but if Jekyll is allowed to separate himself from Hyde in his confession, I'm allowed to do it too.
