Did anybody else deal with ADHD on top of school? Being forced to go online for several months caused me to almost fail multiple classes, and of course it was right at the transition between middle school and high school. I was stuck at home, expected to sit in front of a computer and listen to my teacher lecture and then go off on my own and manage my own work. I got so far behind and my mental health completely spiraled as a result. I can’t remember the last time I had that many panic attacks, it was like one every week. Thankfully my teachers understood everyone was having trouble with it and were very accommodating with letting me turn things in late, but it was an absolute nightmare for me as far as time management and self regulation.

Did.. Did the pandemic make anyone else's adhd astronomically worse? Like I swear it wasn't this bad before, the time blindness and the executive dysfunction was never this out of control. But then lockdown happened and the days started blurring together and the years worth of carefully crafted organization/concentration skills went down in flames and now, well, it takes so much of my energy to even begin doing something that I'm mentally exhausted before 1/4th of the work is done and I hate how you're expected to just get back to how you were before all this happened like ma'am some of us have disabilities that worsen if u pair it with a gaping abyss of unscheduled time.
