never insult glinda upland in front of me because i will fuck you up
I get very overwhelmed when I think about the fact that I’ve seen the original Elphaba perform Defying Gravity live twice
“Everything doesn’t have to have a reason. Just sing a damn song because you feel like singing a damn song.”
— Idina Menzel 7/9/17

this is the Galinda of recovery. she is here for you to support you through your healing. she wants you to do the therapy you need, take your medication, take a walk outside and make friends. she knows it might be a long one. do it for her.

we have all been blessed

cat person Elphaba Thropp

Idina’s “fuck this, I’m out” trio.

I could give you a thousand reasons why I love Idina Menzel. She is talented, beautiful, funny, kind… But for me the biggest reason is that she cares so much about the people around her. She is just such a beautiful person inside and out.
i combined all 3 idina menzel ‘fuck u all’ songs into one big tune
i’ve made a huge mistake
when your accent is so ridiculous that Elphaba has to fuck with it

Idina’s “fuck this, I’m out” trio.
in “Wicked”, at one point Glinda tells Elphaba to “let it go”. Elphaba was originally played by Idina Menzel. Guess what Idina was singing about 10 years later.

do you remember that time in the book where Nanny is like, erm Melena I’m worried about Elphaba’s speech development, she’s coming to an age where it’s expected that she starts speaking but she’s still silent and I think it’d be good to take that delay seriously and do something about it, and Melena is like lmao no she’s just boring don’t worry about it

Wickedly Honest - What Glinda actually wanted to say
do you ever sit and think about how excellent wicked is as a tragedy. like both elphaba and glinda spend all of act 2 until for good doubling down on the choices/mindsets that put them in their situations in the first place -- elphaba continues making impulsive, bold decisions that just turn the ozians against her; glinda continues staying within the corrupt system despite realizing she has no real agency to change it -- and when they finally see eye to eye and each try to implement the other's perspective, it's too late for them to work as a team for more than just a moment. and it just baffles me that like 95% of the general public just sees this show as a fun wizard of oz prequel
🕯️ 🙏 prayer circle that we get elphie calling glinda “my sweet” in one of the films 🙏 🕯️

Jack was employed into service for the East India Trading Company and was given command of the Wicked Wench. However, after he set free a cargo of slaves, his employer, Cutler Beckett, had Jack branded as a pirate and the Wench set aflame and sunk. After failing to rescue the Wench, Sparrow struck a bargain with the ghostly captain of the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones, to resurrect his beloved vessel. Jones returned the ship to Jack in near perfect condition except for the permanently charred hull. This prompted Jack to rename her the Black Pearl.

I'm all for the movement of "if you're going to accept all autistics, that means all autistics. Even the weird ones" etc
But I much more fancy that we just accept weird people point blank. They don't need to share a diagnosis. They don't need to make themselves smaller just to fit into the world.
Cuz, as a late diagnosed autistic, my weird ass could have used just acceptance. Regardless of why I was weird.
hmmm why does my uterus hurt and why do i feel kinda off. weird. surely these are not the warning symptoms of a predictable biological process that occurs on a regular schedule. anyway. im going to wear white pants today.

Accurate representation of me trying to tell someone a joke
