Why I love Steve Rogers.

Because (I've seen many people comparing him to Superman and NO) he knows how it is to hurt badly. He knows how it is to be overpowered. He knows how it is to not be able to bring change, no matter how hard you try.

And he still tries. Over and over again. Does not take a step back and admit that it's too hard, too painful, too much, too pointless.

"I can do this all day."

Because he does what is right. What he believes in.

And he does not give away this "I know, what is right and what is wrong" to anybody. No organization, no parliament or voting can change his decision.

He trust his own mind and eyes more than what 10, 100, 1000 or 10000000000000000000 people say.

No gaslighting works. He knows what is truth and what is not.

Even if I would not agree to him, I would admire his unwayvering conviction. If a person is asshole, let's say racist, but also brave and ready to get beaten pulp for his or her beliefs, I respect it. Bravery part.

But with Steve Rogers I agree. Totally.

He fights for what is good and I see it as good too.

He is a warrior. He was a warrior long time before the army or serum. Serum just made his body as strong as his will already was.

And I like to see someone like him - someone like me - to win. Goodness to win.

Steve Rogers is the character of all time. His whole thing going on makes me insane. His superhero persona is Propaganda Man. He's really not as Like That as you'd expect from the (gestures broadly) branding. He's a symbol of protecting vulnerable people. He's a little guy from brooklyn. There's a reason why he has a shield and not a sword. The scene in catfa when the army recruiter asks if he wants to kill nazis and he says no; he wants to help people. The scene in catws when he's like Bucky I'm not gonna fight you. Constantly rotating it in my mind. Also he is still very much Propaganda Man

It actually bums me out that astrology has persisted through the years as the standard BS divinatory practice that people really buy into, when it so easily could have been ornithomancy instead.

We could’ve had hipster girls trying to predict the minutiae of your life using an intricate chart that details how many herons or crows you’ve seen in the past year. Instead of asking what’s your sign on dating apps people would be like how many birds did you see on your way to work today. I cannot stop thinking about what could have been.

Netflix has been announcing some new cast members for season 2, and so far, they have chosen exactly NONE of our fan casts (remember the fan cast polls we did last year?). Not even Jamie Lee Curtis!

Just remember. No, you are not wrong, bad, not enough. Could be full period now, yes? But especially you, who you care too much, want to help too much, give away all your spoons and 4 extra borrowed from tomorrow and then get told that you are immature and people who don't love themselves does not get loved by anyone. Generally: if you give too much, it's your own fault, now suffer. People who tell that are just kind of stupid. They know nothing (much like John Snow.) You are who you are, you don't have to be anyone else to be loved, to be enough, to be wonderful. You are wonderful! Much much MUCH more wonderful than you dare to think in your wildest dreams!
