Edit: controversial is the wrong wording... fairstairs is simply the underdog and the possibility of them being endgame is sadly very limited.

I just found out that there is a theory that James will find out about Matthew’s crush on Cordelia and then they get into a huge fight causing Christopher and Thomas to take side causing the Merry Thieves to break up. THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN! Anything can happen with the ships (jordelia/fairstairs, but the Merry Christmas Thieves have to stick together!
