I am Nour, a Palestinian girl from Gaza. I am 5 years old. We were displaced from our home after the occupation bombed. We were displaced to southern Gaza. I, my father, my mother, and my grandmother, who also lives with us.
And the three sisters: Bana, Dana and Menna
I saw the ravages of death on the way to the south, where I had to walk long distances on my feet .....
After arriving in southern Gaza, we saw all forms of suffering. After living in a tent for 8 months, we do not have any necessities for life. My sisters and I suffer from illness and weight loss due to malnutrition and lack of it. There is no source of livelihood for my father, who lost his job there in Gaza.

Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. I am Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.
I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.
My Brother’s Dream: My younger brother, Ahmed, is 14 years old and in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and his natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, this is the second year he has been deprived of schooling due to the conflict.
Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.

Today, I live in an unending nightmare. In Gaza, humans aren't the only ones suffering; our beloved pets are also caught in the crossfire of this merciless war. This cat may seem ordinary to most, but it means the world to us and our family.
For over four years, it has been our loyal companion and the heart of our home, it’s shared our sleepless nights, work pressures, and even our bed. A friend to our kids and grandchildren, it loved to be with us all, never preferring solitude.
But amid the escalating crisis, the hardships we face have turned its world upside down. Its once-social nature has withered; fear and trauma have stolen its trust. It now seeks isolation, his appetite diminished, his dry food has become scarce, and prices have soared 💔.
What once cost 10 shekels ($2.70) per kilogram now costs 70 shekels ($26.90)—a price hike that only provides enough food for five days. Tragically, our cat endured nearly two weeks without food due to shortages and the overwhelming terror caused by the constant explosions.
