Oh Yes, Agreed Coming Up With A Title Is Hard, But Coming Up With A Good Summary Is Even Worse
Oh yes, agreed π Coming up with a title is hard, but coming up with a good summary is even worse π
Don't think about writing as just the act of getting words down on a page.
Brainstorming ideas. Daydreaming about the characters. Researching the world they inhabit. Trying to come up with a fucking title.
If you only count the time you spend sitting at a keyboard, you're not giving yourself credit for all of the work you did leading up to the moment when the story is finally clear enough in your mind that you can start putting it into actual words.

Something that might surprise my followers: I very often forget how incredibly handsome Lee Pace as Thranduil is.
As a self-proclaimed specialist and devotee, I think about Thranduil frequently (although I admit my brain capacity is divided amongst him and his sons in my AU), but my thoughts don't usually dwell on his attractiveness. I think about how strong and resilient he is, and wise, and kind, and protective, and generous, and skilled. I feel like every great elf-lord in Tolkien-verse is canonically gorgeous, so looks are not what make the Elvenking special.
But then I look up pictures of Lee Pace as Thranduil for reference, and it's like, holy *bleeping* KEYSMASH. Can you even believe this guy and who gave him permission to be that devastatingly beautiful???

Whatever issues you might have with The Hobbit Trilogy or the film's take on Thranduil's character, Lee Pace's portrayal of the Elvenking is a GIFT that cannot ever be matched.
