Midnight Moans.

I don’t know how long we’ve been asleep, I just know that it couldn’t have been long, for the sun hasn’t risen yet.

The glow of the TV barely illuminates the room, and Netflix is asking if we’re still watching.

My tired eyes, barely open, look down to the woman lying next to me. Her skin is cold against mine, and she’s curled up close to me to steal my warmth. I don’t mind, what’s mine is hers. I am hers.

I reach for the remote and turn off the TV. I turn back to my woman, tucking loose strands of hair behind her ears so I can admire her beauty. Her eyes flutter open and she looks into my soul. We smile at each other, we embrace each other, we kiss each other.

Before we know it, we’re grabbing, groping, pulling, grinding. It’s never just one kiss, it always turns into more. Into a need for each other. A desperate yearning to be as close to the other as possible.

Morning, Noon, & Night.

I love that we both need each other. Every moment that we’re apart is a moment too long. The way we lock eyes across the table when we’re out to dinner, the way that no words need to be spoken to know what’s on the other’s mind.

I love that we’d both rather be home, wrapped in the other’s arms. How any amount of clothing is too much clothing, because the touch of your skin against mine feels like home.
