Can we talk about how right after that, Luz offers to bring Amity to visit the human realm???? She was motivated. Luz tried to get them to backdown knowing how dangerous it would be to go in there with the risk of Amity losing her job. But when Amity heard that Luz is inviting her to the human realm; SHE BASICALLY PANICKED BEFORE GRABBING LUZ AND RUNNING OFF TELLING HER “WE’RE GETTING THAT BOOK!”

Just saying, can you imagine if Luz starts calling Amiry a bookworm someday? Like, multiple times a day? No one else would understand because they would think Luz was talking about the creature that could, y'know, make you die a painful death.

"In the human realm, thats just a cute name for nerds."

Amity would blush. Every. Single. Time. Knowing that Luz was basically insinuating she was a cute nerd.

SHE DID THE THING: “Luz, I do stupid things around you-“ BECAUSE SHE LOST HER JOB TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO GET LUZ SOME BOOK ON HOW TO GET BACK TO THE HUMAN REALM SO THEY COULD HAVE THAT DATE

Luz's clothes got pretty busted this episode, probably why she'll get the new outfit, that cat hoodie is a brave warrior.
