Beautiful fanart, I love it.  Hehe Whyborne is so suspicious of technology, it’s adorable how grumpy he gets about it.

Your headcannon is very entertaining and I’d love to see more Gilmore Girls style Widdershins town meetings and other shenanigans.  Seriously the gossip in that town.  I mean yes, most residents are secretive and don’t pry into their neighbors business and think nothing of hooded figures passing them late at night on the street, but you can’t tell me no one in that town gossips. And I’d love to listen in.

I’m glad @jordanlhawk likes my Griffin stress-baking headcanon. Now I have tons of headcanons thanks to it. Here goes:

Griffin excels at anything lemon custard. The old ladies of Widdershins love his lemon custard filled cupcakes. He brings them extra, and they use them as finger food for their late night occult gatherings.

I can totally see Widdershins having Gilmore Girls type town meetings with the Arsenic and old Lace type of insanity like: “The Dweller of the Deep occult gathering has been moved to Tuesday at midnight, leaving the Librarian’s stealth and espionage classes to move to another night since both need the town gazebo. Also, remember no blood rituals at the Whyborne and Griffin fan club, it’s for all ages and during teatime. Blood at a tea gathering, honestly, yes I’m glaring at you Ms. Crabfeathers.” 

This is amazing, I love it.  And it makes me laugh.  Poor Whyborne, so long suffering.  And when he finally just gives the hat to his camel to eat, so he can get rid of the cursed thing.  And the camel really did deserve a reward at that point. :)

You also captured Christine’s focus and determination and Griffin’s sweetness and concern for his love really well.

My favorite parts of Necropolis were how grumpy Whyborne was, his fez, and his camel constantly trying to eat his fez.

The continuing adventures of LdyEnki being unprepared for Mark Oshiro’s “Anger is a Gift”.

Chapter 14:

Alternate Title: Wanda is Awesome.

First the part that made me laugh.  The line about Obama.  I love this bit.  I could absolutely see Wanda talking to Obama every night.

I keep thinking about this cartoon I saw as part of a discussion my church group had.  A person is fleeing from someone wielding a knife, but a news camera is filming it in such a way that it looks like the person being chased is attacking someone unarmed.  Already the school and media are trying to spin an adult police officer attacking a teenager who hadn’t done anything wrong into a fight that shows how dangerous the students are.  And now a serious injury caused by a cop forcing a student into a situation he had said could be dangerous for him is a minor accident due to malfunctioning equipment.

Reality is being overwritten and it’s terrifying.

On a lighter note, Moss you can stop trying to play it cool.  It isn’t working.

Chapter 15:

A needed respite for Moss and me as reader.  I really enjoyed the meeting of the 2 families.  What Wanda said about love and the example she gave of Moss’s dad snoring was wonderful.  I love how she normalizes Moss’s anxiety and panic attacks at every opportunity.
