AN: Ayyy it's Celrond, long time no see! This was a fun one and about time I worked some more on my Celebrían characterization, hope you enjoy it too :D

"If you would excuse us, my lady and my lord, I would like to discuss something with Lady Celebrían in private." 

Elrond, usually calm and confident, felt his cheeks flush under Celeborn's surprised and Galadriel's amused gaze — he suspected that she had already guessed what was going on and would inform her husband once they were gone. 

"But of course," Galadriel said with a knowing smile. "Please take your time, you two." 

Celebrían was by his side within a split second, grabbing his arm and pulling him along. "Let us take a walk."

"O-of course." No one was more eager than Elrond to be out of sight and earshot; not that he would ever even think of doing or saying anything inappropriate to the beautiful, charming Lady Celebrían, but he preferred to express their budding affection in private. 

Arm in arm, soon hand in hand, they walked down a hallway, down a small flight of stairs, into the garden and behind the nearest bush. Before Elrond had even made up his mind — should he take a moment to bow and kiss her hand, should he skip formalities and hold her close, should he perhaps dare to risk a kiss — Celebrían beat him to it. She turned, swiftly and gracefully, first pecking his cheek and then, when he looked at her in surprise, his lips. 

"I have been looking forward to you whisking me away from the crowd," she confessed. 

"Then I am glad." Elrond returned the gesture, cupping her cheeks with both hands and allowing his lips to linger for just a moment. "I wondered if it would be awfully rude of me to take up the most beautiful lady's time." 

Celebrían laughed. "Even if it is, I shan't be concerned with it. If I laugh tonight, it will be with you, and if I dance tonight, it will be with you under the stars."
