Those Insults Are Going To Fly Right Over The Kid's Head, Even With Mitch Lowering Himself To Lewin's
Those insults are going to fly right over the kid's head, even with Mitch lowering himself to Lewin's level. "Why would I be angry?" He asks, eyes wide and staring at Mitch.

Lewin blinks up to Mitch. "Is weirdo supposed to be fun?" He doesn't get it.

With the permission to keep the scale, Lewin nodded. He didn't think to thank her, instead going back to looking for more loose scales. "Shinto has a lot of demons," the kid said as he studied the tail closely. "Is he a bad god? Why did he have you? Are you a Shinto god?" The questions continued.

Nix watched Lewin and saw him manage to work a loose scale off her tail.. Which was new for her, not knowing they could shed like that. "I don't grow scales but I never really questioned how it worked. It just does.. And I'm not Chinese. My father is a Shinto God, meaning Japanese. You can keep that scale, by the way."
Lewin made a face at the mention of rain. He doesn't like rain, he doesn't like being wet. Osceola had to take him out in the rain once and it wasn't fun. Aha, another scale! Added to the collection. He keeps going, maybe pinching a couple of not so loose scales occasionally. "I've read about snow. Is it wet too? It sounds cold. Japan is colder than Mexico."

"Oh no no! I'm not a Shinto God at all, Lewin. Just a nephilim that happens to be part water dragon. And he isn't a bad god. He was the demon supposedly in charge of rain and snow. Kuraokami is a pretty good guy once you meet him!" Nix watched him search for more loose scales, laughing a little as it did tickle to have him searching around like that. Though he did get lucky enough to find at least one more.

"My parents said I'm unnatural and possessed by demons," Lewin says casually, still looking straight at Mitch. "I'm not possessed by demons, but I am weird?" he questions, since Mitch seems to insist on that.
"Most people don't like being seen as weird, freaky, unnatural... they think it's just bad, to not be natural.

"But, hey - if you don't think being a weirdo is bad, all the more power to you, kiddy. You don't have to see it the way other people see it."
Oh no, his treats! They are taken away!

"Why not?"
Are those gummies on the floor?

"I've been to the Vatican," Lewin says, not taking his eyes off the view. The world is a fascinating place for the little kid. "I think Japan is farther." He still has no idea how he ended up here.
He looks to Mitch. "You don't looks Japanese," he states as a way of asking here he is from.
"Everyone has their own personal reason. They'll tell you, if they want you to know." Mitch shrugs, approaching the railing after Lewin, but still trying to give the kid his space. Once there, he steps up onto it, then rests both his arms, crossed, on top.

"Japan," he corrects. "True Cross, Tokyo, I'm p sure. ...You've been this far from home before?"
