"You're coming with us. In chains," One of the disciples threatened (Y/N) and grabbed her by her arm, to which Hamish shoved him.

"I don't think so," His eyes lit up, Tundra growling and ready to let loose.

"Hamish, I'm fine. Let's go," She put her hand on his shoulder and he was immediately calm, not hesitating when he took her hand and walked out of the Den.

It's been three months since that day and Hamish and (Y/N) were attached at the hip. He grew fond of the Cambion woman in his life, admiring her strengths and how she took no bullshit, sometimes letting his eyes wander her gorgeous frame.

But then reminding himself that (Y/N) is immortal, and she probably had some sort of plan for the previous Tundra so that they could be together forever.

(Y/N), however, was in a panic. Turns out she was wrong about the previous Tundra, that he wasn't the one. It was Hamish. And how did she know?

Her heart started beating.

With her ex lover, she never felt it beat but felt so much love for him that she disregarded the one rule of soul mates for demons.

Only a true one, a soul mate, can make a demon or Cambions heart beat.

"He wasn't too harsh with you? You won't bruise?" Hamish asked, genuine concern in his eyes as he looked down at her.

And she felt her heart speed up.

"I'll be fine, e-everything is fine. Let's just go see what Vera wants."

Things went smoothly, despite you wanting Vera dead because of how she smelled around Hamish.

Like a horny teenager.

"You can go-"

"Thank Lucifer," You sighed, getting up.

"Hamish, I need you to-" You whipped around.

"What? No!" You burst out, making Hamish quirk his brow.

"Excuse me?"

"Hamish isn't your lapdog, Vera. He needs time to himself, to the pack-"

"The Knights of The Order-"

"The Knights of St. Christopher," You cut her off with a harsh glare.

"(Y/N), please, I'm fine," Hamish tried to reassure you.

"No, you're not! Vera has turned your greatest fear against you! You're her pupp-!"

"That is quite enough! Leave!" Vera knew you caught onto her plan and stood up. She couldn't have the Werewolves against her.

Not again.

"Hamish, please. . .Lucifer, I have never been so scared about my own feelings before, but. . .my heart started beating. Because of you," You revealed, feeling it race a million miles an hour as he stood there and finally caught onto what you were saying.

"It wasn't the previous Tundra. . .it was you," But he didn't say anything.

And so you left.

Not back home, but to the den.

"He's an idiot if he doesn't come find you. Your heart beats because he's your soulmate!" Randall emphasized.

"I just. . .I just wish he could see what I see whenever Vera takes him away."

"I do," You flinched when you heard Hamish voice.

"I'll leave you two alone," Randall patted your back before leaving the Den, and Hamish sat neside you but you refused to look up.

"I'm such a dumbass. I was blinded by her magic, and I am so sorry I didn't see it sooner. . .I'm also sorry that I didn't even notice your heartbeat."

"How could you notice it?" You snifled.

"My hearing. I always heard it, but I never linked it to me. . .(Y/N)," He slipped his hand into yours.

"How will we work? You're immortal, and sure, the Hides slow down our aging but-" You looked up.

"You. . .you like me?"

He smiled shyly, "I have for the last few months, but I could never bring it to myself to accept that I fell for you."

"It's not because I'm a Cambion?" You chuckled dryly.

"No, of course not. But, no matter what happens, I just want you to know that I like you. Hell, I think I love you, (Y/N)," Hamish revealed, and in that moment, you kissed him.

His lips were far softer than you could ever imagine, fitting perfectly against yours as they moved in sync. His hands immediately went to your hips while yours kept a grip on his button up.

"I love you too," You breathed out, finally tearing yourself from him.

"And I'm not immortal. Our Cambion lives are limited to five hundred years, and I only have a hundred years left," You revealed.

Hamish teared up, so happy that he finally found the woman that was meant for him and he can spend the rest of his life with her. He embraced you in a hug, happy to finally stop being alone and let himself feel for once without being afraid of it.

"I can't wait to spend my life with you," He kissed your head.

"I've waited a bit too long," You joked, letting your smile shine through to him and only him.

"You all suck."

(Y/N) went back to the temple to find some murder spells, only to be caught in a demon trap made by the Werewolves.

"Oh, you're all Werewolves. Nice to see how they can become lapdogs while I'm gone."

(Y/N) hissed at them.

"Why do you want Earth? Vera made a mistake-" She snorted, cutting off Hamish.

"I never wanted Earth. I want to watch Vera Stone suffer. . .ugh, I can't believe Tundra chose you," Hamish looked confused.

"But, didn't you just-"

"That was until I saw your memories, grandma lover."

"Vera isn't-"

"Oh, I love how you knew I was talking about Vera!" She clasped her hands together.

"Anyways!" Randall spoke up.

"What will it take to get you on our side?"

She rolled her eyes, "The Orders?"

"The Knights."

"Yet you wear their robes," She inspected.

"For now. We stole from them with a demon named Zecchia, and then we messed up on the second incantation. Now, Rogwan is here. This is all our fault, and since you're Asmodeus only child and only link to Earth, you're the strongest," Randall explained.

"Ah, so you've done your research. Well, Rogwan is a bit annoying. He keeps asking for my hand in marriage, but only to have unlimited access to Earth. And. . .I don't want to watch the Earth burn, just Vera. The previous Tundra loved his planet and its humans, so why even destroy the one thing that's left of him," Her humanity was shining through, and Hamish didn't know whether to admire it or take advice of it.

"What's in it for me?" (Y/N) asked, taking a seat on the Grand Magus desk.

"Mittite eum plane inde avellam!" (Y/N) chanted as she marched toward Rogwan, who looked and saw it was his princess trying to send him back.

"My princess, what-?"

"Rogwan, ad quos eieci te ad inferos et omnibus eius speciebus!" He screamed in pain as her palm went against his forhead, and she continued with her chanting.

Everyone watched as markings spread across his body and chains burst from the floor and latched onto him, dragging him back down.

"Princess, you will regret this! Asmodeus will not tolerate your behavior!"

"I'm my own fucking woman. Daddy can't tell me what to do, so bye-bye!" She waved as he let out one last scream before Hell finally swallowed him.

"Look," She turned to Vera, "I just banished Rogwan for eternity, that's one problem I just got rid of for you. Everyone has their fear back, I reversed everything he did and so it was just another regular day for this world."

"What do you want?"

"In. With the Knights, of course. So, if they leave one day, I leave too. I offer protection, passage to this," A black book appeared in her hands.

"Book of Lost Souls and all the spells that come with it. Basically, you can use these souls to cover the cost of your magic," Vera stared at the book with greed clouding her eyes.

"Grand Magus?" Hamish spoke up.

"Y-yes. You are now officially in the Order."

(Y/N) sensed the fear and anger around the disciples whenever she walked into a room, and it filled her with joy, but also a bit of sadness at times.

"Hey," She turned around to see Lilith, the Werewolf girl she rescued.

"Thanks."

"Your welcome. And I love how your parents named you after our Queen," Lilith was about to object, but decided to hold it in.

"Hamish wants to talk to you," She followed Lilith into another lounge area, where Hamish was waiting.

"Oh, look at you. No Order robes, quite fetching attire," She brushed his shoulder.

"Thank you, and thank you for helping Lilith. But-"

"You still don't trust me," He nodded.

"Don't worry, I won't touch Vera Stone. And you know, many demons and even Lilith admires the Knights," He quirked his brow.

"Your Queen admires the Knights of St. Christopher?"

"Mhm, she admires how strong willed each one of you are, along with the Hides you carry. How you take on this responsibility, knowing that death is always chasing you," She revealed.

She felt Hamish insecurities practically leaking out onto the floor. His insecurity as a leader, as someone who his friends can trust, and if Tundra really chose the right one.

"Hamish," He looked at her.

"Not once has Tundra chosen wrong. You show verocity and a great spirit and a brave soul, and doubt only works against a leader. I think you're making yourself a fine Tundra," He got a glimpse of her eyes before she left, and it sucked him in. They were a gorgeous (e/c), deep and never-ending, and sparkling with fire and curiousity of this world.

He shook it off, trying to make it seem like it was just Tundra being attracted to her.

But, maybe the previous Tundra wasn't the one.
