this is my first time doing a wip wednesday and i shamelessly admit that this is for selfish means, to get @yanak324 to do one too. so from chapter two of pieces of you stuck on me (but i’m careless and i’m wicked)

“All I feel for him is lust and friendship it’s just- not like how you think okay?” Lyanna tried explaining herself, knowing she was doing a bad job at sounding convincing.

“Yeah?”

“But Gods, ugh he drives me crazy,” Lyanna blurted, tightening her ponytail. She turned to see Myrcella doubled over, staring at her and raising her eyebrows as she tried to regain her breath. “crazy in a ‘I-can’t-look-at-him-without-getting-horny’ kind of way.”

“You know, some would say that’s love,” Myrcella bent over, stretching her legs. 

“No it’s not. It’s just my body showing me that I’ve had the misfortune of being attracted to men as well as women.”

“Well, one man.”

“Two, don’t forget Tallhart,” Lyanna laughed, continuing their hike. 

“How could I forget,” Myrcella shook her head before putting on a voice, “Mister ‘I’m sorry you’re just so hot’.” Holding up her fingers in quotation. 

Lyanna began laughing harder, having to stop her steps just to clutch her stomach, “It must’ve been only a minute or two in. Gods, it was unpleasant.”

I’ve been meaning to make some art for this lovely, lovely fic, I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this fic and the impact it left on me! It’s beautiful, and well written, has a truly wonderful and so, so meaningful message at its core, and it’s captivating and captures so much of what I love about them. The quality of her writing is unparalleled, and it gets to me in a way that punches me in the gut and has me thanking her for it.

This is from a moment in Ch. 6, riverrun to acorn hall, that just stuck with me ever since I read it:

He laughed some more but said nothing in response, just shook his head and continued to watch the sky change. She joined him. Looking at the sky, watching the colors bleed together, waiting for the stars to appear - that was their thing, now, she supposed. She liked that they had a thing.

“Hey, Gendry?”

“Hmm.”

“You could never take up too much space.”

There are so many moments from this fic I feel like I can envision perfectly in my mind, but this one especially, so I figured why not paint it out!
