roronoa zoro isn’t one to be vocal about his feelings. and it’s not because he thinks it’s a gender thing where men should never talk about emotions and such. he just doesn’t know how to go about that. whenever people ask you how he confessed you’re always at a loss of words because he never actually said he liked you in the first place. you just knew it. by the way he’s never annoyed by your presence during his training or by the way he never pushes your hand away as you reach for his to pull him to the right direction, or by the way he never gets mad at you when you say ‘that’s not the way back to the ship’, or by the way he lets you take a closer look at his swords and even touch them, or by the way he lets you take a few sips from his sake every now and then, or by the way he got so used to you reaching out for his hand during walks so he doesn’t get lost that now he’s the one to grab your hand first… so that even if he gets lost, he won’t lose you
