“Because it’s one of the best memories I had in a while. I was happy with you. More myself than I get to be most of the time. I see it as a moment in my life I was lucky enough to live. I treasure it, and I always will.”

It was warm, so she didn’t bother putting clothes back on. As soon as she neared the bed, he instantly reached a hand for her to take, inviting her back into his arms. She didn’t have to think twice, especially when she noticed he was sulking a little.

She cuddled up to him and he sighed, “Thought I was dreaming.”

She just smiled and brushed the hair out of his face in sweet caresses, “All real.”
