Taking my time with these, still planning to finish them all.

I think the shock and brutality of the smash cut to Jecki (and Yord) dead in the jungle is meant to jumpscare us out of being too enraptured with Qimir or lulled into the “I’m just a guy who is making soup” routine. He is seducing the audience at the same time as Osha, so lest you forget, here are Jecki and Yord abandoned and covered in flies.

I've been thinking the same since Darth Teeth pushed Osha instead of killing her. I think Qimir is under the mask, but being controlled by Koril. Like a string puppet. 'Cause you know, Koril had mastery over the Thread. Also, there's no way Mae killed all of those witches with her little fire. Koril probably has something to do with that.

The Acolyte Episode 4 Speculation:

I could be dead wrong, but I think the Sith might be Koril.

For one, and probably my biggest point, is that the Sith pushes Ohsa away from the fight, after just staring at her. We all know that Koril feels protective of the twins and wants them out of harms way.

Plus I’ve looked at the scene where they show all the dead witches and I can’t really find a clear match for Koril.

The closest match I could find was her

If you squint I guess you could say she has horns, but no obvious blue markings.

Plus the outfits look different.

Left looks like a light brown as opposed to Koril’s darker sleeves.

And I feel like if Koril was dead, she would be more obviously in the shot, she gave birth to twins so you would think they wouldn’t just put her in a pile of bodies and be hard to see.

Plus the whole “kill all four Jedi” would make a lot of sense for Mae’s test. Koril could be using her to get revenge.

Also the fact that Osha seemed to have somewhat of a connection, maybe she recognized her presence.

Again all speculation, I could be dead wrong.
