Speculative twilek anatomy, anybody? This is about ythe skull specifically, the part of star wars races that tends to be most interesting and human divergent. Inspired by the wonderful work of @spacelingart
More notes:
-Lek Roots vary in terms of length and placement. Hera has very long and outward pointing lek roots, whereas Oola and Lyn have thick short roots that point back.
-it’s also possible that the levels of fat deposit on the crest as well as root angle/placement might be correlated with twilek ethnicity! Oola and Hera might be green, but it might be that Oola and Lyn are from the same twilek “race”, so are Lunae and Aayla, and then Hera is some third one.
-I see literally no reason that male twileks would never have high set lekku, or that a female would have low set lekku.
I was gonna write more but I’m tired! And I wanna post this. I think next I might do togruta skulls and lekku/Montrals or some stuff on zygerrians next :)

suddenly thought about how funny it would be if ahsoka didn't tell that she didn't die on malachor ONLY to the ghost crew...
like what was she even doing during that time while everyone thought she was dead?? resting and chilling i hope. she deserved it
i alsooo thought about the fact that chopper base most likely has her "grave" somewhere which the ghost crew made for her... yk... on the same style that she and rex made for dead clones after order 66...
So the plot twist was that literally everyone but Master Indara, Kelnacca and Mother Aniseya were idiots.
do you think the birth families of the jedi mourned when they heard the news about order 66. do you think they worried and that they weeped when the clone wars began and they heard that their children were going off to fight in it. do you think they looked at their calendars and kept track of how old their children had become every birthday. do you think they knew that their child was only 10 when they were murdered during order 66. do you think any jedi went out to find their birth parents after losing the only family they really knew. do you think any families sheltered other escaping jedi, knowing what likely happened to their own. do you think the families cried. do you think they mourned. do you think, even though they hadn't seen their children in years... they still weeped?
It's always "the Jedi failed at this," "Anakin should've done that," and never "Darth Sidious is so good at his job, he deserves to get Sith Lord of the month."
