here's a little guide for how I color and shade

while for the colors I use to shade, I don't use black (I really recommend not using black), instead I use other colors to get a brighter look

I generally choose funky colors to shade!! like sometimes I use green to shade yellow if Im feeling funkier than usual lol

and for skin tones, I just get a darker redder version of the skin tone ! ^_^
