I Drew The Storyboard For This Comic In Bed A While Ago And When I Found It Again Yesterday I Thought.

Panel 1: Shows a phone with a message typed but not yet sent that reads " Do you want to go on a date with me?"
The message is supposed to go to Klavier.

Panel 2: Apollo looking at a phone with a nervous and slightly sad expression on his face.

Panel 3: Apollo about to hit send.

Panel 4: Apollo still about to hit send, now with his eyes closed.

Panel 5: Apollo hit send.

Page 2

All panels on this page only show his face.

Panel 1: Him saying "I did it... I asked him on a date."

Panel 2: Apollos getting a bit nervous.

Panel 3: He is getting more nervous.

Panel 4: Hes really nervous now and shaking and saying "ahhhHH"

Panel 1: Apollo looking absolutely mortified as he thinks "I asked Klavier Gavin on a date."

Panel 2: Apollo is now panicking while looking at the chat and saying "Wahhh! What am I doing?! I need to delete-"

Panel 3: Shows a close up of the phone and that Klavier saw the message and is now typing.

The entire page is a single drawing of Apollo looking down on his phone but he is colored in a more realistic way to add comedic relief. The background is black and text next to him reads "He saw."

Panel 1: Apollo is still looking at his phone.

Panel 2: He is raising his phone in the air.

Panel 3: He is throwing away his phone.

This page is a collage of several drawings of Apollo panicking. Next to one of them the text reads "Why did I ask him on a date?!" and the text next to another "I need to change my name and move to a different country. Sorry Trucy. I will miss you."
Below that one where he is laying on the ground and saying "I'm so stupid."

Panel 1: Apollo flopping down on the side, clutching his phone and blushing. The text above him reads "He wants me."

Panel 2: He is still staring at his phone with shining eyes.

Panel 3: Klavier is calling him and Apollo is caught off guard.

Panel 1-2 which transition into each other. Apollo is startled and yells "GAH" and then quickly answers the phone with a nervous "H-Hiya"

Panel 3: Shows Klavier on his phone. He is letting out a "pfffft" And Apollo from the other side yells "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?"

Panel 4: Shows Klavier now drawn in full, laughing and looking very happy. He says "Haha, sorry. You just sound so nervous, it's cute.
Apollo: I'm not cute!
Klavier: You are.
Apollo: Am not!
Klavier: are.
Apollo. Not!!

Panel 5: shows Klavier from behind, unlocking his car door.
He says "Anyway. You really caught me off guard, asking me on a date.
Apollo: D-do you really want to?"
Klavier: Yes, very much so.

Panel 1: Klavier leaning on his open car door. He says "That's why I'm calling, actually. I'm off work now, do you want me to come over?"

Panel 2: Apollo saying with a happy and excited expression: "Wah- really?!"

Panel 3: Klavier looking very happy as he got pierced by 3 cupid arrows says "of course."

Panel 4: Apollo is beaming with happiness and says "yes!!"

Text above reads "Alright then, see you in a bit."
The 3 little squares below that indicate the passing of some time.

Below that Klavier is coming through Apollos door holding a boquet of roses. Apollo looks happy and flustered. Klavier is smiling. Apollos cat is standing next to Apollo.

I drew the storyboard for this comic in bed a while ago and when I found it again yesterday I thought. I need to draw this. Immediately. Enjoy.

i've shared amal's gofundme (@amalashuor) several times, but i just received messages from her that broke my heart

amal is a 26 year old mother from gaza. she is an incredibly dedicated and loving mother to her year old daughter, maryam. before the war, she was studying to receive her masters degree in french language. on her instagram (@/amal_sufian97_) she shared beautiful photos of her life and family in the years before the war.

now amal, her husband, and maryam have been displaced several times and have nowhere to turn to. amal wishes to finish her degree, and both she and her husband want nothing more than a better life for their young daughter. every time i receive a message from amal, my heart is full knowing she is still alive, but it breaks for her suffering. i implore you, please donate any amount you're able to help amal and her family escape gaza. they deserve nothing less than safety, warmth, love, laughter, security, and life. as of july 6th, €1,025 / €30,000 has been raised. her campaign is also included on el-shab-hussein and nabulsi's spreadsheet of verified fundraiser (#175). if you're unable to donate, please share. i want nothing more than to give amal hope that she can provide a better life for her daughter.
