My Dream Artists To Be On A Simon Snow Trilogy Show Would Be Troye Sivan (Blue Neighborhood), Ricky Montgomery

My dream artists to be on a Simon Snow trilogy show would be Troye Sivan (Blue Neighborhood), Ricky Montgomery (Montgomery Ricky), Will Wood (The Normal Album) and a little bit of Sufjan Stevens. The show will probably never happen but imagine these artists soundtracking these characters’ lives.

Finally finished Any Way the Wind Blows. This was a wild ride again and I always enjoy seeing what I notice on a reread. So, here are some (mostly AWTWB) thoughts.

I finally got the message of the Simon Snow trilogy. They aren’t broken, they just trusted people who they were meant to trust. Simon never wanted to be the Chosen One, the Mage just told him he was. Baz never wanted to hate Simon, he was just told to because of the war.

I’m so happy Agatha found Niahm. I know that a lot of people think she’s aro/ace but it’s still a good conclusion for her.

My favorite scene is still the ham sandwich scene, closely followed by chapter 61, the Cheesecake Factory and the scene where Simon finds out who his family is.

I still hate the Mage so much. He had some good ideas but he still caused so much damage to the people in his life.

I love how Lady Ruth and Baz are gossip buddies about Smith. They hate him so much because they already have their Chosen One.

Simons little progression of not texting Baz back to finally talking to him to eventually calling him is so great. Almost as good as the not touching/hand holding/making out in the woods pipeline from Carry On.

Anyways this trilogy is so great and I already can’t wait to see what I notice on my next read.

Not me delusionally thinking that if I don’t read the final chapter of EDENS ZERO it will never happen…

When someone you love offers a bid for connection, you say yes every time. When someone sends you an article, a video, a funny post, it’s a bid for connection. They are trying to connect with you. When someone shares details about their day, their life, their thoughts, or their feelings with you, that is a bid for connection. They want to connect with you on a deeper level. They are trying to pull you into their world. If you love them, you say yes every time. Yes, even if the article they send is not particularly interesting to you. Yes, even if it means listening to them ramble about a game you don’t care about and think is stupid. Yes yes yes. And let’s hope they always say yes to your bids, too.

Simon in the first 150 pages of Carry On

Fuck it was disappointing. No Hermit and Weiss being a couple as they deserve. And Shikka was OFFSCREENED. OFF. SCREENED. THE MAIN SHIP. WE DONT EVEN SEE THEIR FUCKING CHILD. This and Noragami needed 5 more chapters and it would’ve been perfect.

Not me delusionally thinking that if I don’t read the final chapter of EDENS ZERO it will never happen…
