TW for abuse
But one thing about saikis character that I've noticed is that he is everything he is today because of the abuse he went through
Like kusuke is extremely abusive and manipulative towards him and that mixed with his father made saiki truly believe he was a monster, that he truly doesn't deserve anything nice or good, that he should be alone cause he'll only hurt people
And his mother while being nice and overall well meaning she let's the abuse happen
Saiki has a father that only seems to love him when he can be useful
A brother who is honestly just really creepy towards him that I don't wanna get into but it's definitely there
And a mother who turns a blind eye to it all or is to oblivious to see it
It makes sense that he has a wall put up, he's trying to protect himself from hurt by claiming he doesn't care
as a huge lover of birds, 90% of the concern against wind turbines being used for energy is literally just pro fossil fuel propaganda. birds ARE at a risk however there is a lot of strategies even as simple as painting one of the blades that reduces a lot of accidental deaths. additionally renewable energy sources will do more in favor of the environment that would positively impact birds (and all of us). one study found over one million bird deaths from wind turbines. while that is a shockingly high number and we should work to drastically shrink it, at least 1.3 billion birds die to outdoor cats on a yearly basis. it was never about caring about birds
I feel like most of saikis friends secretly think that he's being abused/was abused but don't know how to go about it
Like they can see the signs in the way he acts and the best they can do is stay with him and make sure they don't scare him off
