Hiii!! Doing great, working on a custom necklace a client has asked me to make :)) I already love them , they are super nice but they gave me free reign on this one and I don't like that akskksks I like a good prompt , why couldn't they give me a prompt ? Don't I deserve it ??? ( I already have an idea I just want to be dramatic )

I'm also making some bracelets for another client and I'm really bored of them already bc I've made them so many times and they are repetitive and boring wkskdkwjwakskk ( all this whining but then when I don't have clients I'm even more annoying bc I'm bored , it's the inevitable cycle of eternal whining I'm afraid )

I didn't think I had a least favorite movie until I remembered the absolute shit-show that was the movie I was forced to watch for Spanish class. It's called Volver and it's absolutely insane. Granted, I had taken maybe two actual lessons of Spanish before watching this so I didn't understand much , but what I did understand was awful honestly. The movie is about two sisters, let's call them Elder and Younger, they are orphans and Elder has a daughter and a partner. Partner tries to rape Daughter and my girl just stabs that bitch, Elder is very understandable but from this moment forward she takes the stupidest decisions ever. She wraps up the body in a blanket and , since her fridge is too small and her boss is out of town , she and her daughter drag this totally not-corpse-shaped lump in bright daylight all the way to the restaurant where she works to hide the body in the fridge. Now , I've never disposed of a body but I don't think putting it in a place that other employees have access to is the best idea. You'd think that the whole movie would revolve around this pretty big problem right? Wrong. During all this drama Younger ( after visiting her hometown bc I-don't-remember-which-relative died ) comes back home and opens up the trunk of her car to find her mother there. The mother who died several years ago, alive and kicking and maybe even with luggage? I don't remember. This woman , let's call her Mother , pretty much gives little to no explanation? Just stays there and lets her daughter believe she is a ghost. We don't need to wonder who the favourite daughters is bc as soon as Elder comes to visit Mother spills the beans ( but only to her, I'm pretty sure that no one explains anything ever to Younger but I hope I'm wrong ). Mother explains that her husband raped Elder , or maybe he just attempted to , and then cheated on her. So Mother followed her husband and lover one night and set fire to the house they were in. For some reason she also pretends to be dead and does so for years , letting not only her daughters but the whole town mourn her for this long. At the end Elder's partner is buried somewhere ( with the help of yet another random person that should not have been involved ) and Mother keeps staying with Younger ? Maybe ? No idea. All the random rapists aside ( who at the very least all die) this movie is just insanely batshit and nonsensical, with people randomly coming back from the dead and loved ones being extremely chill about it for some reason? I guess it's just a random tuesday for them?? Wtf?

I am superstitious but like for the stupidest things? I don't care if a black cat crosses my path ( they are cute af ) but I will never ever no matter the circumstances walk under a bus stop sign

It started in such a random way , on the way to school my friend very drammatically stopped me from walking under a bus stop bc otherwise the next day I would have been quizzed by one of my professors and then somehow it evolved in me believing bus stops are just generally bad luck

I'm so adamant about not walking down one that one of my friends is also like this now bc of me lol

Uh I also have this thing where I never cross out a day on the calendar before it's over otherwise it's like I'm giving up on it (?) I'm saying that the day is already over so I won't be able to be productive in the time I have left (?)

Yeah totally am, idk how to explain it rly or what i actually think of it, but mh as a kid my mom used to tell me that god is in everything and hears every wish or smth so you could whisper smth into your hands and then release it into the sky to be heard, I would look up in the sky or smth ehen it was sunny with clouds and say "if i should do x, show me a sign (aka let a cloud fly over me/disappear above me)" things of that kind

I dont rly do that anymore, nor am I christian rly anymore but I think the sentiment of wishing and whispering things into the wind, wishing upon shooting starts, dandelions, when you loose one of your eyelashes, etc still remains

It's a deeper thing of manifesting things into existance by believing in them and putting them out there into the "field", law of attraction and some idk if it's spiritual, esoteric, new pagan... things...beliefs

I keep being stuck between a hypocrisy of wanting to rationalize and explain the world scientificly but also believing that science is clueless and stupid to make it its own "religion" in a way, and that there's things that science cant explain and that theres more things that science cant explain yet, what is rn still being called stuff like "magic" and whatnot idk its complicated
