One of my subs has very severe asthma, for example, and I have sat down and written out ideas for how to safely accommodate his desire for choking around this, including requiring that his inhaler be visible and within reach during a scene, that he give me a rundown of administering it beforehand, limits on situations in which I will and will not attempt breathplay with him, etc.

Part of being a good dom is knowing your sub and health issues are at the top of that list.
