Have you ever come across hurt nice people.

My parents used to be selflessly good and considerate. But yesterday one my acquaintances wasn't feeling good so I went and checked up on her then I told my parents.

The next day very seriously my dad goes like don't do too much, you do what you want but not too much.

Because he during peak covid and the person was suspected with covid had gone to check up on his friend because the friends wife called and though it was my mom's birthday she spent more than 3 hours in the kitchen preparing food so that friend had enough to eat for around a week.

But during the second wave even though I was vaccinated and had no symptoms. But was alone in the house his wife said no to taking me in their house. And my parents were deeply hurt by this.

For me it just makes me sad. This is only one example.

I've learnt to only be kind to strangers because when kindness is shown to friends it should accompany obligation or the friendship will fade.

Sometimes I wanna be like a cat...

Loved even if I'm cold, moody, petty, and don't like to pay rent
