I think this is the Lucius reveal y’all. I think they are looking for Ed and find Lucius instead. I can see it being a “take us to whoever runs this establishment” kinda moment and then they turn a corner and instead of seeing like a big baddy it’s just Lucius with his hands on his bitchy little hips. Look at their faces. Look at Pete. 😂❤️

The funniest thing about the new season so far is that we all thought Blackbeard's crew will hide Lucius in the walls and instead they're hidding Izzy.

ok but at the start stede quite literally having a dream where he straight up murders izzy, because he most likely blamed him for influencing ed and everything he did during the events of season 1. he hated him so much because of that, that he had such a vivid dream involving his death by his hand. only for him to do nothing when they do meet face to face again, because he's accepted he's just as much to blame for what became of ed. and that izzy was already so beaten, but also so changed. and he could see just how much it hurt to have to do what he did to ed. it's just, um, yeah.

Didn’t realize how desensitized I am by body horror now. Jim and Archie straight up making out covered in blood next to Izzy’s amputated leg was so hilarious and sexy. Like probably one of my favorite moments so far? What does this say about me????

not over that ed would like an inn by the sea but even in that domestic environment he can't help but imagine people being absolute fucking dicks, and just as much, can't help but imagine his own incredibly valid anger at being dehumanized and mistreated for service work. it's not like when he imagined with stede, the two of them making a fantasy together - now even when the players are both him, he can only imagine the verbal abuse, the failure, the world being inherently unkind.
