The whole fake dating to make Gen jealous was literally just a ruse and anyone who doesn’t see that is just as dense as Lara Jean. Like c’mon he brought her to meet his Mom, he was disappointed when he found out he wasn’t the only one she wrote a letter to, he was also visibly disappointed when she said it’s easy to be with him since its fake (IT WASN”T FAKE TO HIM), and last but not least he really wanted Kitty to like him, being that sweet to her was not part of the contract. Peter really went the extra mile for a relationship that was supposedly fake from the beginning. The signs were all there, the boy was whipped from day one!

It’s been a whole week since Y/N last spoke to Tom. 

She left their shared apartment after a really bad argument between the two of them. She was never one to walk away from their problems, that is not how she was raised.

As much as she would love to go home into his loving arms, she wouldn’t. She couldn’t go back to him; hurtful words were exchanged between the two.

They were both at fault, it wasn’t because of Tom and it wasn’t because of Y/N. It was months of stress that had piled up and was on it’s final string, all of it let go in one heated moment. 

Y/N since then had been staying with her friend Briana, who was more than welcoming to her and thankfully a place that she knew would be difficult for Tom to find her.

Y/N was alone, taking care of Briana’s dog, Jack; while she was at work. She wasn’t expecting anyone, nor did she think that Briana was when the doorbell rang.

Brianas’ door did not offer a peephole, so Y/N was forced to open the door entirely.

“Tom?” Y/N shocked, seeing Tom standing on the other side of the threshold. 

Tom looked up, taking in the features of his estranged girlfriend, “Y/N, oh my god, you’re okay.” 

Y/N stepped aside, hesitantly letting Tom in, “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be okay?” 

Tom stopped in front of Y/N, “Maybe because you decided to leave and not tell me where the hell you were going.” 

“Don’t put this on me Tom, we’re both equally at fault for this.” 

“You left! I thought you were at your parents. Your mum and dad didn’t even know that you had left our flat. I asked Ava and Noah if they knew where you were, and they said to try here.”

Y/N walked over to the grey couch and sat down; looking up towards Tom, “I left because of what you said, That drove me away.” 

Tom wore a clueless expression on his face, “W-What did I say?” 

Y/N stood up, “You can’t be serious, Tom.”

“I’m very serious, what did I say Y/N.” Tom went in to grab Y/Ns’ hand only for it to be jerked away from him. 

“Fuck you, Tom. Get out.” Y/N grabbed his forearm tightly, pulling him towards the door. 

“Not until you tell me why, you’re acting this way.” He managed to pry off Y/Ns’ small hand from him, in a way where he wouldn’t hurt her.

Y/N sobbed softly, “Get over it, At least I don’t have bad temper like Sloan. He would have banged your head on a wall by now. You proceeded to laugh, Tom.”

Before Tom, you were in an abusive relationship with a person named Sloan. When you first started dating Sloan, everything seemed perfect. He was a gentleman but something triggered him, and things went south from there.

“Darling, I-I’m so sorry, you kn-” 

Y/Ns’ eyes met Toms’ brown ones, “You can’t just say ‘I’m sorry’ and think I’ll forgive you.” 

“You know I wouldn’t say something like that. I would never intentionally hurt your feelings.” Tom placed his right hand on Y/Ns’ right check, his thumb softly caressing the upper part of her cheek. 

Y/N looked down at her feet, “Yet you did. You know how sensitive that whole topic is.” 

“Tom, I-I just need some time, please just leave.” 

Toms’ hand left her cheek, and grabbed her hand, “When we met, I promised that I would never walk away from our problems. This makes no exception. I love you so much. Please let me stay.” 

Y/N nodded softly, “Stay.”
