"We Cant Continue. The Path Is Blocked, He Hears His Uncle Say Through The Drivers Window.

"We can’t continue. The path is blocked,” he hears his uncle say through the driver’s window.

“What do you mean, ‘blocked’?” his aunt replies.

“See for yourself.”

But Jimin is already jumping down the trailer, jogging to the front of the car. Shaking themselves out of their cold stupor and their blankets, Junghee and Minsu follow suit. What the moonlight grants them to see is nothing they would have expected, even in the middle of their darkest doubts.

Chapter 3 of Map of the Soul on ao3 is underway 😊

This is just B R I L L I A N T. thanks 🙏!

i hope it's okay to ask this of the blog? i was just sort of wondering how everyone gets started with planning their fics! is there a recommended sort of structure? currently i just sorta write ideas and tidbits of prose down as they come to me which... is not great? for planning a finished story? because then i end up aimless and not knowing what to do. how do you set things up to best help you figure out where you're going with everything?

I start mine with a title and 2/3 of an idea, so I’ll leave this one to the planners who know better than I could pretend to 😆

If you like the fly by the seat of your pants style, though, I start with a premise (what if they were both professors at the same university?) and an end point (the emotionally-distant one finally comes to terms with the fact that they’re in love too and this isn’t just a fling).

My first chapter (or couple of chapters) is establishing the premise and the world. Then I take the characters through the steps of meeting, getting to know each other, and falling in love. The last chapter (or sometimes second-last) hits that end point I’ve been aiming for, and then I wrap up any loose ends.

I start posting when the only thing I know for sure is chapter 1 and then I just keep telling the story to myself over and over again, tweaking and changing and expanding as I go. I tend to do this as daydreams while I’m on transit or while I’m listening to hold music or while I’m lying in bed waiting to fall asleep. I tend to spend a lot of time thinking and then just write it all down when I’ve got it figured out.

It’s not the “traditional” writing process that you’ll see most people talk about, but it works for me? But let’s see what other people do.

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

Okay... when Koya's story was introduced, I kid you not. I legit cried because not only did it play RM's Tokyo track but I could see RM with Koya

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

I thought boy, I aint crying like that anymore. Last time I ever cried, like super super ugly cry over animation was Coco and Inside Out.

And then Chimmy's story came out.

Now, if you guys followed the back story of how they were created, their dad's (BTS) was the one who gave each character their back story.

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

When i first watched this episode, JM had already told us from the beginning that Chimmy was abandoned and had no idea why he was left alone. (I blame JM for my ugly tears!!!) So in my head, I already knew that when they would release Chimmy's story, it would be emo.

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

I mean, for JM to come up with that storyline and knowing how lovable and cute Chimmy is... dude... I thought... did JM ever feel lonely?

So I get the notification today and see Chimmy's story is out. It was just a few seconds in and I'm already tearing up. (Damn you BT21 creators!!! Damn you!)

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

I mean???? I wanted to jump in and hug Chimmy right there and then!

BT21 - Chimmy's Story
BT21 - Chimmy's Story
BT21 - Chimmy's Story
BT21 - Chimmy's Story

All Chimmy wanted was to be with someone. To have a friend. To not feel lonely. (Oh god, im tearing up. 😭😭😭)

Everyone wants not to feel lonely. Cause you can also be surrounded by a lot of people but still feel lonely.

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

Arrggghhh... this shot. I had ugly ugly ugly tears here. You see, everytime Chimmy took the harmonica out, that meant he was feeling lonely. (JM how could you do this to your child!!! 😭)

And then this happened.

BT21 - Chimmy's Story

Even in the BT21 world, Tata found Chimmy. Just like V and JM.

Excuse me while I crawl into my furry blankets and cry my heart out.

And my day to end with "in the next episode" so that I have an overall idea of where the plot of my life is going and if I need to change the script

I wish every day started with a “previously on” so that I’d know which of my life’s plot points were going to be important that day

Summary: 1949: when Sun Junghee sees his life uprooted and disrupted, little does he know it would lead to find such a unique and exceptional love, that would irreversibly change him. Harder still is it to imagine that his grandson, Jeon Jungkook, would experience the same kind of personal turmoil, 70 years later.

Two timelines, two generations, one love story: because nothing can prevent soulmates to meet, and meet again — not even stubborn History, cruel wars nor inflexible families. If they have to part in one lifetime, they’ll meet again in the next, or the one after, despite the past wounds they carry along with them.

Because soulmates are meant to be, no matter how, where or when.
