#𝟔𝟖: "𝑺𝑻𝒀𝑳𝑬" - 𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒘𝒊𝒇𝒕 / 𝚂𝙿𝙾𝚃𝙸𝙵𝚈 𝚆𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙳 !

          to  say  that  he  and  mitch  have  a  bit  of  a…tumultuous  relationship  is  an  understatement.  they  have  their  ups  and  downs  and  ons  and  offs,  but  somehow  ( probably  from  weakness  on  both  of  their  ends ),  they  always  wind  up  right  back  where  they  left  off.  they  can  never  seem  to  truly  leave  each  other  alone.  louis  would  be  amiss  to  deny  that  he’s  enamored  by  mitch’s  freckles  and  minty  green  eyes—eyes  so  intense  that  they  make  every  hair  on  louis’  body  stand  on  end  when  mitch  gazes  into  his  eyes.  it’s  those  same  intensely  green  eyes  that  make  louis  weak  in  the  knees  and  could  get  him  to  do  just  about  anything.  it’s  a  fault  of  his,  and  he  knows  it,  but  when  put  in  that  situation,  it’s  hard  for  louis  to  deny  mitch  anything.

          so,  when  mitch  comes  crawling  back  after  their  last  big  fight,  louis  tries  to  turn  him  away—he  does  good  at  first,  but  eventually,  mitch  has  him  worn  down,  and  he  caves.  he  can  practically  see  the  eye  rolls  of  their  friends  when  they  find  out  that  they  are,  indeed,  back  together.

          “ i  should  just  tell  you  to  leave, ”  louis  sighs,  hands  gripping  at  mitch’s  broad  shoulders  as  he  gazes  up  at  him.  “ 'cause  i  know  exactly  where  it  leads,  but  i  watch  us  go  'round  and  'round  each  time… ”

          it  truly  is,  entirely,  a  fault  of  louis’  that  he’ll  always  take  mitch  back  and  he  knows  it.

at some house in malibu... taking pictures by the pool... doing things I'd never do...

          it was  a  nasty  habit,  and  she  knew  it,  but  smoking  weed  was  one  of  the  only  sure  fire  ways  she  knew  that  eased  her  nerves.  first,  it  helped  to  calm  her  down  when  her  parents  became  too  much,  then  it  soothed  her  anxiety  whenever  david  would  get  on  her  ass  about  something,  but  nowadays,  it was  a  way  to  cope  with  how  shit  the  world  had  become.  after  all,  it  wasn’t  everyday  that  you  had  to  worry  about  the  undead  eating  you…  or  it  used  to  not  be  that  way.

          but  now,  the  world  was  over,  and  kate  had  to  raise  children  who  weren’t  even  technically  hers.  they  sure  didn’t  have  any  qualms  in  making  it  known  that  she  wasn’t  their  favorite  person,  anyway.  that  was  the  dynamic:  javi,  the  cool  uncle  and  kate,  the  mean  stepmom.  she  wasn’t  expecting  it  to  change  any  time  soon,  either.

          “ you  really  shouldn’t  be  so  cocky  about  it, ”  kate  told  javi,  in  reference  to  him  being  the  ‘cool’  uncle.  “ it’s  a  poor  look. ”  she  took  a  drag  from  her  blunt,  and  as  she  exhaled,  she  continued,  “ now  i…  see,  i  know  i’m  not  cool—forever  the  mean  stepmom—but…  at  least  i  look  cool… ”

idk if this happens to anyone else or if it's just me, but tumblr keeps doing this thing where my long posts (i.e. answered asks, starters, etc.) take at least 5-10mins to show up on the dash, but will post to my blog instantly. but little posts like this show up on the dash no problem. i'm so confused and idk why this is happening but it's driving me crazy dflkja;s
