i just finished distant lands and im gonna rant.. adventure time means a so so much to me i cant ever express how deep but to see This and to just see the beautiful amazing people both marcy and bonnie grew up to be.. to see how much they evolved. marcy was naive and reckless and bonnie never showed her feelings and overworked herself.. and now they can openly express their feelings and trust each other it just squeezes my heart.. having a healthy happy sapphic couple on screen go through things and still manage to love and accept and grow im beyond happy and grateful to have adventure time and i can go on forever about everything i treasure in this but thats the most important part..

we can grow to be kind and loving people despite our pasts, despite our baggage and problems, love is bigger and kinder than that, it heals you and even if its scary to be soft it’s still so so lovely.

What I love about Marceline and PB? They put each other first

Before Marceline performed the song, she was hesitant and checked on PB first.

Only after she got the go signal from her did she start the song. Even after the performance, Marceline's first instinct was to check on her again to comfort her while she was trying to act like she was fine.

THEN

There was chaos all over the kingdom and Marceline's singing was their only hope of beating the dragon. This was PB's reaction upon hearing that Marcy's bass broke.
