Jay is genuinely scared of growing old.

He loves his youth. To be in his twenties, living everything the world has to offer with the bestest of friends just feels like a dream. A dream that is bound to end, and that he cannot comprehend.

To live until his hair turns gray, his vision becomes poor and his bones don't work as well as they do now is one of his biggest fears. Until he meets you, that is.

When he gets to know you, he kinda wants to grow old. The next sixty or seventy years seem exciting all of the sudden. To get to live it all with you is exciting. The peace he longs for, the calm that he's been wishing for, it all comes clear when he thinks about growing up with you.

And even if none of you remain young or beautiful, he is positive life will be youthful and brilliant as long as he is with you by his side.
