i feel like at one point eddie kissed steve and freaks out and thinks steve will get mad at him but steves just like "it's cool man" and it doesn't even occur to him to have a gay crisis until later that night when he's lying in bed and he's just like "wAIT-"

bonus if he then shows up at eddies house despite it being super late at night (or early in the morning) and when eddie opens the door he's like "you kissed me" and eddie just looks at him like 'was that not already established?'
