a personal theory of mine concerning the beckerverse is that i don't believe that chosen, dark, and orange/second were the only other iterations of hollowheads created by alan, after he made victim.
no, i have reason to believe there were others before all of them.
it's a bit of a random theory, yes, but i have my evidence.
for starters, there's the description for animator vs animation 2:
"The animator, looking for a challenge, decides to make the stick figure harder to beat. Little does he know exactly how much power he is giving to the little guy. Long live The Chosen One!"
alan was looking for a challenge. you hear that? a challenge.
maybe it's just me being an overthinker, but it always seemed kind of strange to me how alan suddenly decided to challenge himself after he made and fought a stick figure for the first time in the previous installment.
but i can add more to this. specifically, with the help of aim.
more specifically, alan's messages with programmer021.
now, we still have no idea who the fuck programmer021 is (i like to believe that it's dj, but that's just a silly hc of mine that doesn't really have any solid evidence), but what we do know is that they have knowledge of alan's history with stick figures, given their nonchalance when alan mentions fighting a stick figure:
[I tried to get screenshots, but they looked like ass so you're getting transcriptions instead]
noogai3: HELP! programmer021: What's up? noogai3: i dont have much time to talk noogai3: he might kill aim soon programmer021: Who? noogai3: the stick figure programmer021: Ohh... programmer021: That guy
programmer didn't even find it odd, what his friend was saying. hell, he asked what level chosen was, and even tried to give SUGGESTIONS on how to beat chosen- at least, before chosen smashed aim's window.
in my opinion, this implies that victim and chosen, at this point in the series, weren't the only creations of alan. no, i think alan (along with programmer/dj, possibly) used to create stick figures and then fight and kill them, just for the sake of his own entertainment, only stopping after the events of ava 3, where he was forced to get a new computer thanks to what chosen and dark did to it
this puts...a lot of new perspective on alan. makes chosen/dark's hatred of him a lot more justified
